LOCATION! - LOCATION! - LOCATION!
This is good as it gets! Very cozy, warm and toasty cabin in the mountain town of Tahoe City. The location couldn't be better. Walk to the Gym & the Spa. Walk to Beach. Walk to Restaurants. Walk to Shops. Walk to Golf Course - right across the street. Walk to Marina and rent a boat. Walk to corner and take shuttle bus to Alpine Meadows Ski Resort or Squaw Valley Ski Resort we recommend Squaw. Take the bus in the other direction and go to The Crystal Bay Club to gamble and see a show. You can even walk to the supermarket. No need to drive!
THE HOUSE
The house is tastefully decorated with rustic decor and lots of wood and a river rock hearth. Besides the location I am equally fond of how warm the house is in winter. The house is so warm and well insulated it is very comfortable. The floors in the living area are old fashioned pine planks and the bedrooms all have new forest green plush carpet. The river rock hearth with the wood burning stove gives the house a warm glow. There is a MOUNTAIN VIEW from the living room,dining room and kitchen which is all one big great room! There is even a small piano in the entry way-also part of the great room. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a King Size Duxiana Bed and a TV. All linens in the house are 500 thread count or above and new. All the beds have down comforters too! A beautiful pine wood staircase takes you to the upstairs where you will find two more bedrooms, a large loft which overlooks the living area, a bathroom and an outdoor deck. One bedroom upstairs has a brass bed with a New King Size Sealy Posturpedic Pillowtop Bed and a TV. Next door are two twin beds with TV, VCR and lots of children's videos. The loft overlooking the living are has a queen size futon with the best mattress available - we like good mattresses!
THE KITCHEN is fully equipped with Stainless Steel pots, New Dishes, New Matching Cutlery, Nice utensils, all kinds
of drink glasses: wine, martini, daquiri, marguerita. Everything that you need and all nice and new even the appliances. This is a great vacation house you will love it!

Skiing ~ Skiing ~ Skiing Snowboard! Snowboard! Snowboard! Close to all ski resorts in North Lake Tahoe. Ice Skating rink at Squaw Valley! Ski Squaw Valley - home of the 1960 Winter Olympics. Beautiful Mountain Resort! Tahoe City is the best location in all of Lake Tahoe! Boating ~ Boating ~ Boating! Great Lake to rent a speed boat, a kayak or a canoe. Swimming ~ Swimming ~ Swimming! The lake is crystal clear. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful Alpine Lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains elevation 6000 feet. It's a bit cold so bring a wetsuit or take your time getting in - I always go in the water - and it's great! Water Ski, Wake Board ot ride a tube. Or float down the Truckee River in a raft. Great Hiking too! Especially in the Fall colors or in the Spring looking for snow flowers.

Beautiful Golf Coursea all over the area with the 9 hole Tahoe City Golf Course right across the street.
Lots of ski shops, clothing shops, furniture and novelty shops just a short walk. Movie Theatre in town and yes you can walk.
Great Gym called Asante Fitness with all new equipment and classes daily. Two Yoga Studios. And a great place for a massage or facial called Massage on the Lake and you can walk there too!
There is a bike path all along the Truckee River which is a nice ride.
My favorite [lace to hang out at the house is in the backyard hammock in the summer and the couch in the living room in Winter with the Great View!

We require a $500.00 deposit at booking. Half of the total rent, occupancy tax of 10% and $150.00 estimated cleaning fee is due 120 days before arrival date and the remainder is due 60 days before arrival. Cancellation Policy is 60 days before arrival for a full refund all other cancellations will result in a credit which is good for as long as we own the house and have it available for vacation rentals. Weekends have a two night minimum and holidays a three or four night minimum
