Vacation Rental Description
Just beyond the shoreline with spectacular views of breath taking scenery, lies a 1800 sq.ft. vacation home built in 2005 for your enjoyment. This nicely appointed home is nestled within the Sierra National Forest at North ShoreEstates resort community, located between The Pines Resort and The Forks Resort in Bass Lake, California. Enjoy ease of boating, fishing, swimming at the beaches, and other watercraft activities on the lake, along with, lounging at the private community swimming pool and spa or playing a fun game of tennis within the community. Take advantage of the scenic walking, hiking, and biking trails. Adventure out and explore the mountain region via all terrain vehicles. Plan a day trip to Sierra Summit Mountain Resort or Yosemite's Badger Pass for many winter sports and activitiesa or plan a whitewater rafting excursion on the Merced and Tuolumne Rivers. Just five minutes away from the Bass Lake Village and strategically located close to the majestic Yosemite National Park, as well as, other popular sites.
"Bass Lake is a freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada, located 14 miles (23 kilometers) from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. The lake is considered a "warm water" lake with water temperatures reaching 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months. Most of the land around the lake is part of the Sierra National Forest. The United States Forest Service designated the lake an official Recreation Area and has developed campgrounds and picnic areas on the south shore of the lake. Much of the area surrounding Bass Lake is devoted to the tourism industry."
Boat Mooring on the lake adjacent to North Shore Estate Community is permitted primarily during peak-season. Boat slips can also be reserved in advance at the marina. Day use at the North Shore end of the lake and swimming is permitted. Safe! Year-round marina is located at The Pines Resort & Marina with casual and fine dining, entertainment, shopping and boating needs. Other marinas with amenities during peak season include Miller's Landing Resort & Marina and The Forks Resort. Fuel for watercrafts is conveniently availble on the lake.
The major local town of Oakhurst has just about everything to service your vacation needs, including a variety of dining options, shopping, entertainment, and a host of services. Included are Von's and Raley's Supermarkets and Rite-Aid and Long's Pharmacies. Local interests include events within the community, The Pines Resort and Village in Bass Lake and Tenaya Lodge Yosemite in Fish Camp with seasonal and holiday events and activities, among others. Also, Yosemite National Park has a calendar of events and activities for consideration and there is a tourist information center in Oakhurst for visitors seeking all area attractions. Yosemite is exceptionally beautiful during the spring time with blossoms everywhere and gushing waterfalls, summer is warm to hot and is exciting with many outdoor options, and early fall is brisk with vibrant colors of scenic beauty representing the change of seasons.

Internet Cafe Hot Spots in local town Oakhurst on Hwy 41 - Zanders Coffee, Starbuck's Coffee and Cool Bean Cafe. WiFi (Wireless Internet): Verizon Wireless USB727 Modem device provided upon special request (Broadband Access National Access network - download speeds of 600 Kbps to 1.4 Mbps, upload speeds of 500 to 800 Kbps).

The security deposit is required to hold your reservation and is refundable up to 60 days prior to your reservation, less a $25 service fee.IF CANCELLATION IS MADE LESS THAN 60 DAYS BUT MORE THAN 21 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR ENTIRE DEPOSIT.IF CANCELLATION IS RECEIVED WITHIN 21 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, THE ENTIRE RENTAL AMOUNT WILL BE FORFEITED, AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED. CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING. If we are able to re-book the property, we will refund all monies paid, less a $25 service fee. Traveler’s insurance is an option to those who desire coverage. There is a $25 fee imposed for returned checks.
