The Lotus Lake House is a completely "green" exclusive home designed by the award-winning architect Michelle Kaufmann. It's a sleek modern design, glass walls that open, lots of windows and cool welcoming tones. As Michelle says, "this house has more love per square foot than any other I have known". We are completely off-grid and have "Build it Green" certification. 
 
It is situated on 7+ acres of private forested property. We cleared just enough trees to have fabulous views of Rollins Lake. The glass walls open to the outdoors - blending indoor and outdoor living and making the house feel quite large. Bird watchers will love the rare birds that can be seen from our deck.  
 
Our home is best suited for a romantic getaway, honeymoon or for an artist/writer retreat, especially those who want to support the environment while staying in an exclusive and unique property. The house is very open including the bedroom. Secluded yet close to many activities. Brand new high end furnishings that compliment our eco-friendly home. Seen in Sunset Magazine, this was the showcase home at the West Coast Green Show in San Francisco.

Rollins Lake provides all summer water sports, launch ramp 1/2 mile away, rentals on lake, winter fishing. This is a fun family lake in the summer and a peaceful romatic hideway in the winter.

Rates vary by season from $150-$250 per night, cleaning fee is often required if we are not available. Deposit is $500 as the house has high end furnishings. Additional pet deposit required. Special service arrangement can be made. Special weekend or events may be slightly higher. Discount made for long stays.
