You will be impressed with our home's understated elegance and enjoy its quiet location in the center of the 380 acre Lakes Country Club. From the moment you walk into the entry foyer and see the atrium you will feel right at home in this comfortable home overlooking the golf course with lake and mountain views. As befits an upscale country club, the landscaping is superb and there are two swimming pools within a minutes walk - one is directly across the street. 
 
The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, two walk-in closets and the large bath has two sinks and separate tub and shower. The second bedroom has two double beds and a full en suite bathroom. The spacious den is comfortably furnished, including a Queen size sofa bed, and is fully en suite. There is also a powder room for the convenience of your guests. 
 
The large Living Room has a fireplace for cool winter evenings, a separate area for table games and a sunken bar. But the main attraction is the view of the golf course, lake and the mountains beyond. There is a formal Dining Room that seats six comfortably. The Kitchen/Family room has a marvelous view and affords direct access to the South-facing patio with a new gas barbeque. 
 
The home has all the expected amenities: 5 TVs, DVD player, high speed internet access and a golf cart for you to use around the Club grounds. There is also a separate laundry room off the attached two car garage. 
 
The Lakes Country Club is totally private, but as a guest you have full access to the fifteen tennis courts (two are clay courts), the Library, the 5,000 sf Fitness Center & Spa, any of the 47 pools, the Children's Park and, of course, the 50,000 sf Clubhouse and Dining Room. Unfortunately, use of the 27 hole Championship golf course is restricted to Members, but you are able to arrange lessons with the golf professionals. And there are at least 4 excellent non-private golf courses within 10 minutes of The Lakes (including Desert Willow which is rated one of the best courses in the entire valley). Top restaurants, grocery shopping and the famed Marriott Desert Springs Hotel are all within a few minutes drive from The Lakes.  
 
 
 

There are 47 community pools in the complex - one is directly across the street from the home and another is within a two minute walk.

We are 2 1/2 hours from the beach area and about the same distance from snow skiing. Disneyland is approx. 2 hours away. There are three large Casinos in the Palm Desert area. International caliber Polo is played in season.
