The property is located in the heart of Templeton and Paso Robles wine country. It is situated near a year-round creek and has a unique combination of water features including a 1/2 acre fishing pond, a Koi pond, and a small waterfall which directs a stream under the home and emptying into the koi pond in the backyard.

From the moment you enter you are surrounded by serene waters, viewed from almost every room. Nightime is even more enchanting when viewing the property from the deck with soft lights framing the pond. Natural scenes of wild-life surround you daily: Ducks, catfish, dozens of bird varieties, eagles, egrets, hawks, frogs, deer, and more make this their occasional home.

A short 5-10 minute drive has you within reach of over two dozen tasting rooms. There is overnight availability of 3 BR/2.5 BA/2,500 sf or 4 BR/3.5 BA/3,000 sf of 5 acre privacy.

The home is lovingly furnished in simple, yet elegant country motif with numerous "rural" antique touches such as spinning wheels, barber's chair, sewing machine end table, and other period memorabilia. In addition to the area's numerous wineries, you can spend a week here and only scratch the surface of the central coast's offerings: You are easily within 20 to 30 minutes of nearby lakes Nacimiento & Santa Margarita, the charming beach towns of Cayucos, Morro Bay, San Simeon and Cambria, countless ocean and beach activities, magnificent Hearst Castle, the historic downtowns of Templeton & San Miguel, the jazzier downtowns & nightlife/shopping of Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo, limitless hiking and nature gazing, horseback riding, and just plain unforgettable scenery.

Please note: While your are enjoying this unique property, there is a limit to you inviting a maximum of 4 additional guests onto the property during the day without advance consent. The local noteriety given to this breath-taking retreat will be obvious to you when you see it in person. We must therefore limit your temptation to share it with more than an additional 4 guests/2 vehicles who may be enjoying the central coast area along with the overnight guests....THANK YOU for respecting this desire to limit not only the wear and tear of the grounds, but also to preserve our commitment to being a good and considerate neighbor within the local community.
