The vineyard is a short walk away and links to many hiking paths. Barrel tasting at the cellar is available by appointment

Not a golfer- there is Garland Park for great hiking adjoining the Ventana wilderness and just down Hwy 1 20 miles south is Point Lobos Park and Big Sur. don't forget the world class Monterey Bay Aquarium-truly one of a kind. Carmel Valley has many artisan wineries for visiting and tasting. Our own winery, wines of Carmel, is available to your group for private barrel tastings and private chef dinners.

    Artisan Winery French Chateau and Vineyard Estate

    Wines of Carmel invites discriminating guests to their beautiful French chateau style winery estate on 10 private acres in Carmel Valley. This unique property (6500 sq ft) has a main residence with gourmet kitchen, wine cellar, living room, great room, office/bedroom, and master bedroom suite. The attached guest wing has two large bedrooms-the portico room and valley view room with seating/reading areas, breakfast room, and bathroom (2,000 sq ft). Grounds include seasonal displays of daffodils, native trees, a profusion of lavendar varietals,roses, and a Koi pond in the entry courtyard. Private hiking trails surround the property which adjoins another 2500 acre private estate.

    We are out of the fog and only six miles to charming Carmel-By-The-Sea with world class dining, shopping, and scenic beauty. Pebble Beach, Laguna Seca Raceway, and Monterey are also nearby.

    A bottle of our award winning Carmel Chardonnay and Carmel Syrah will be awaiting your stay. Wines of Carmel can also host a private barrel tasting if arrangements are made in advance. Our Phoenix Vineyard is just a short hike away through the rolling oak hills.

    Book early for the AT&T, Pebble Beach Food & Wine-The Pebble Beach Concours d'elegance and many other special Monterey Peninsula events. A two night minimum stay is required and rates can be negotiated for longer stays and additional services. A new Range Rover is available for daily rental.
