Our townhouse style rentals were recently built and they sit on top of the hill as you come into Avila beach. The featured unit here is our LIGHTHOUSE unit which is, of course, decorated in a beachside Lighthouse motif. This unit is spacious and has 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths. It has a deck in front with a gorgeous ocean view where you can sit and listen to the sound of the waves crash on the beach. The 2 story unit has a 2 car garage with automatic opener. Inside, your apartment will be fully furnished and can be rented for a few days or a few weeks. We also have an on-site laundry facility for your convenience. It is an easy 2 block walk down to the ocean. The beach is perfect for swimming, surfing, laying in the sun or people watching. Lifegaurds are on duty during weekends, summer months and holidays.

We have 3 rentals available and each has a different beach related theme. Although each rental is the same size (1200 sq. feet), the bed configurations vary. The Lighthouse unit featured here has a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms. The bedrooms are both downstairs. In the living room upstairs, there is a sofa sleeper. You will also find a 3 sided fireplace in the living room as well as a television with cable and DVD player and wireless internet access. Bedding for all beds, including the sofa sleeper, is provided. Bath and kitchen towels are provided also.

The entire downtown area of Avila Beach has recently been rebuilt. It includes a fun new childrens park, a small grocery store and deli as well as new restaurants and stores. It is no longer a rundown little town. It is beautiful, upscale and the place to be. The weather is warm year round and it is consistently much warmer and less foggy than Pismo Beach. The California Central Coast is waiting for you.

Coin operated washer and dryer are available to guests. Unit has a 2 car garage with a garage door opener. On the deck, there is a gas BBQ grill as well as a patio table and chairs for your outside enjoyment. The living room is upstairs and has a 3 sided fireplace for warmth and ambiance.

Whale watching and deep-sea fishing are available at Port San Luis which is a 5 minute drive away. Horseback riding is available in nearby Oceano. In Pismo Beach, you can rent ATV vehicles to ride or take a tour of the dunes in a Hummer. Lake Lopez is about 20 minutes from Avila in case you want to bring your boat for wake boarding or fishing. If you choose to fish from the Avila Pier, bring a pole because no fishing license is required for pier fishing. There is wine tasting in town as well as places near and far. There are dozens of wineries within 20 minutes. There is plenty to do here or you can just relax at the beach.

It creates a beautiful micro-climate that is much warmer and less foggy than nearby beaches. Additionally, it is the best swimming beach on the California central coast. Between being located in the bay and with the addition of a breakwater, the waves are smaller and gentler. It is definitely the best and warmest sun bathing and swimming beach in the area.

The $500 Reservation Fee is to be sent with the Vacation Rental Application. This amount applies to rent. Thirty days prior to arrival, balance of rent, $125 cleaning fee, refundable $250 Security Deposit & 11% Bed Tax is due. Funds are payable with VISA, Mastercard, Discover Card or personal check. Cashiers checks are not accepted. Return tenants receive a discount. Also, discounts are available for longer stays (weekly or monthly)- especially in winter. Cancellation Policy: For cancellations more than 90 days prior to arrival, there is a fee of $100. For cancellations less than 90 days but more than 30 days, you will be charged the amount of the Reservation Fee. There are no refunds for cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival. Should the property re-rent with no lost days, there will be a full rent refund but $50 will be deducted from the Security Deposit for time and paperwork.
