Just minutes away from the beach, vineyards, the quaint village, and downtown San Luis Obispo, this place has it all!

Relax and soak in the serenity on the wicker furniture of the wrap-around porch or stretch out in the double hammock. Gaze up into star studded skies at night or watch the hawks soar overhead during the day. Visit the beach for a stroll, or enjoy an ATV adventure on the dunes. Take a short drive to nearby vineyards to explore, shop and wine taste. Spend an afternoon antiquing in the Arroyo Grande's western style village.

Or take the 15 minute drive to San Luis Obispo along the sparkling coastline and visit one of California's only remaining drive in theaters. Love to golf? Nearby Cypress Ridge and Avila Beach offer beautiful courses for your enjoyment.

Although day trips abound (Pismo Beach State Park and Dunes approximately five minutes away, Avila Beach 15 minute drive, Solvang 45 minutes, Lake Lopez 20 minutes, Hearst Castle 60-70 minutes, Morro Bay 40 minutes, Montana de Oro State Park 35-40 minutes, etc.), you can fill your days without even leaving the premises. There's ping pong, a pool table, croquet, horseshoes, volleyball or badminton, and plenty of lawn for a romping game of flag football. Roast marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace, play board or card games, swing on the tire swing or nap in the double hammock.

Bedrooms in this home are spacious and beautifully decorated. Some of the bedrooms feature window seats and walk-in closets. All have eye-pleasing views out of multiple windows. The master suite, located on the ground floor, has a king size bed, an over-sized jetted tub, and a huge double shower.

Two bedrooms upstairs offer queen beds, and a third upstairs bedroom sleeps four on twin daybeds (with one of the pull out beds being an airbed). Additional sleeping is available in the ground floor office with a convertible queen size sleeper sofa. All linens (bedding and towels) are included.

Your own private office provides a quiet retreat with computer access including internet. A FAX machine is also available for use, but outgoing phone service is limited to local calls.

Nearby airports include San Luis Obispo and Oceano, both merely minutes away. Oceano Airport offers sightseeing flights for a bird's eye view of this beautiful area!

Rest, relax, and enjoy old fashioned family fun at this peaceful retreat. The fresh air, open spaces, and beautiful vistas will refresh and rejuvenate you.

Apartment over detached garage is owner occupied on a part time basis and is not available to renters. Owners reserve the right to occupy this separate, private residence while the main house and total use of the 2.5 acre grounds are rented to vacation renters. At times, the apartment itself may be available for rent. Please contact owners for prices and dates available. Maximum occupancy of apartment is two people.

We provide many on-sight activities such as a pool table, football, badminton/volleyball, ping pong, two barbecues (gas and Santa Maria fire pit), an outdoor fireplace for roasting marshmallows or just snuggling up in the evening, a two-person hammock, a loveseat swing, an arbor with benches, a variety of indoor board and card games, and two televisions with DVD players. Seasonal fruit trees provide apples, plums, and apricots for our guests. Master bath has oversized jacuzzi tub and expansive double shower. Every room has a beautiful view of hills, valley, trees, and open sky. Deer are sometimes spotted on the grounds or nearby and hawks nest in the large eucalyptus trees on surrounding properties.

Just minutes from Pismo State Beach there are opportunities to kayak, ride ATV's in the dunes, or ride horseback on the beach. Lake Lopez (approx. 15-20 minutes away) has boating, water sports and fishing, hiking, biking, etc. Several golf courses in the area provide recreational fun for all levels of golfers. Arroyo Grande has a multi cinema movie house as well as two live theaters -- The Great American Melodrama and The Clark Center -- meeting the taste of a variety of visitors to the area. Nearby San Luis Obispo also has playhouses and a new performing arts center on the Cal Poly campus.

Vineyards abound in the area and are within a 10-15 minute drive. Wine tasting, shopping, and exploring/learning about winemaking are available.

The quaint western style village of Arroyo Grande has many unique shops, restaurants, parks, a one-room schoolhouse museum, the famous suspension bridge, and roosters that stroll the streets.

Non-refundable cleaning fee of $300 per stay. Nightly rate: $550 + tax or $650 + tax holidays We require a minimum stay of 3 nights 20% deposit required to reserve. Bal. due 14 days prior to arrival date. RESERVATION DEPOSIT is transferable to another available time within 12 months if facility is re-rented for dates of original reservation. $1,000 refundable SECURITY DEPOSIT required at check in. Refunded within 7 days of vacating premises if inspection shows no damages. Facility is not available for large parties, weddings, reunions, receptions, etc.
