It is 3 years old, 2040 sq. ft with an open southwest floor plan that features a Great Room with fireplace and media center, Gourmet Kitchen, Dining Area, Entry, Office, Master Bedroom Suite, Guest Bedroom and Bathroom, Laundry Room, 2 car Garage with golf cart area and workbench. This home is beautifully furnished because it is our home and not just a rental unit. From the rear patio are panoramic views of the Tortolita Mountains and the Marana valley. Home is located within Heritage Highlands, a gated golf course community for ages 50 plus with a championship 18 hole golf course, swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, 29,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with restaurant / bar, library, craft rooms, golf shop, meeting rooms, craft rooms and a large ballroom for big events. Renters will have discounted rates for the golf course (resident rate) and acess to the swimming pool, fitness center, restaurant / bar and all the amenities. Because of regulations there is a 3 month minimum rental period. Home is available from Dec. 2009 thru May 2010. Dove Mountain at 2900 ft. elevation is tucked into the Tortolita Mountains 20 miles north of Tucson. Dove Mountain is a collection of communities, golf courses and a retail center with 2 restaurants developed since 1997. Homes range from entry level homes to multi-million dollar homes in private, gated communities. Heritage Highlands has homes that are valued in the $300K to $600K range. The Ritz Carlton hotel will open Nov. 2009 and has 27 holes of championship golf open to the public.

Tucson, AZ has probably the best winter weather in the southwest. Most winter days have a high in the 50's to 60's degrees Fahrenheit with nights down in the 30's. There are about 5 to 10 nights at 2900 ft. elevation that there is a freeze and we have to protect our citrus trees. Ah yes fresh grapefruit, lemons, limes, oranges off the trees. Tucson has a wide aray of restaurants and activities. University of Arizona located here with its superb medical center. There are four major hospitals and many clinics within 20 miles. Mexico is only a 2 hr. drive south and Phoenix is 1 1/2 hr. drive to the north.

Heritage Highlands is a gated golf course community. Renters will have full access to all the amentities including the 18 hole championship golf course at reduced resident rates, swimming pool, hot tub, 5,500 sq. ft fitness center, tennis courts, 29,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with restaurant / bar, golf shop, changing rooms with showers, meeting rooms, library, ball room for big events. There is a retail shopping center at the entrance to Dove Mt. with 2 restaurants, 2 banks, grocery store, drugstore, coffe shop, doctor's office and other offices. Dove Mt. Blvd. is a great wide road that is good for biking and there are two main hiking trails that go up Dove Mt. Blvd and into the Tortolita Mountains.

Rental is 3 month minimum due to private community rules. Winter is high season Jan. thru May. One month deposit required with rental agreement which includes a $300 cleaning fee if required at end of rental. Renter will be responsible for utilities: electric, gas, cable TV and internet access. Landlord will pay these and renter will reimburse monthly. Utilities ran in the $300 USD per month last year. Payment by check.
