This recently remodeled cottage has a relaxing hot tub; a propane BBQ on deck; full kitchen with dishwasher, all pots, pans, dishes; 1 and a half baths; two bedrooms; living room; dining room. Sleeps 7 to 8 people. This is one of the nicest cottages in all of Seward in one of the best locations. There are very few oceanfront and seaside cottages in the area. Watch eagles, orcas, humpback whales, sea lions and sea otters. Beach comb for sea treasures; hike to nearby Tonsina Creek salmon stream; or Caine;s Head State Park on the 5 mile coastal trail; listed as one of the top ten hikes in Alaska. Take kayaks out -self guided or guided; or a boat/motor rental; or a full or half day fishing charter for world class halibut and salmon fishing! Fish right off the mile long beach for salmon and dolly varden!
Across the street from the oceanfront with great view! Beautiful mountain and ocean setting. There is no television reception but a CD/DVD player with an assortment of DVDs. This cottage is a larger, charming 2 bedroom, two story cottage/home just across the street from the beach on Lowell Point with a spectacular view of Resurrection Bay and is about a 2 minute walk from Millers Landing. Millers Landing has fishing charters, kayak rentals, lessons and guided paddles and a water taxi service on site. There is a wonderful Saturday night pot luck dinner there in the evenings and the owners contribution is always fresh deep fried halibut or blackened black bass. There are coin operated laundry facilities at Millers Landing as well as wireless internet, gifts and free coffee and a small store.
