Charming 75sq.Mtr. (800sq.Ft.) Apartment in Barranco

Cute, fully furnished and equipped 75 m² (800 square ft.) apartment for rent in a very nice area of Barranco in Lima, Peru - located just 3 blocks away from the bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and from the well known "Parque de Barranco" (Barranco's Park) and "Puente de los suspiros" (Bridge of the whispers – watch and hear the parrots and other birds living in the trees there). Very nice and safe neighborhood with plenty of green and opportunities to go for a walk or eat in one of the numerous restaurants close by, which range from great value to pure luxury dining experiences. Especially the freshly served seafood is highly recommended.

Barranco is considered to be one of the nicest, safest and touristic areas of Lima. Tourists love it for its architecture, history, art and culture. Many peruvian and famous international celebrities come from this area like writers, filmmakers and painters. The apartment includes everything you need for your stay such as: linens, towels, cable tv, dvd player, unlimited WiFi internet access, stereo, completely equipped kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, stove, kitchen utensils) etc.

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (4th floor using the peruvian way of counting stories) and consists of:

2 bedrooms (2 double beds, 1 sofa bed, 1 crib for the little ones on request)
2 bathrooms with one shower each
1 dining- and livingroom area
1 fully equipped kitchen
Cable TV with DVD, telephone, WiFi as well as wired internet access

Apartment maximum occupation: 5 guests.
Price: USD $ 330/week for up to two guests. $ 5.00 for each extra guest/night
+ a $20.00 one time fee for final cleaning of the apartment

A security deposit of $150 US is necessary which is fully refundable to the guest upon returning the keys on checkout day.

Taxi Service from and to the airport available for $25 for the first 3 persons/one way. 3+ on request. Affordable maid service on request.

Rates include all utilities, such as gas, electricity, water, cable TV with many english channels, unlimited WiFi and wired internet access, fresh towels/bedsheets, all taxes etc. - no hidden fees or surprises!

For stays with a duration of significantly longer than 3 weeks rates are negotiable.

The apartment is located in Barranco, the bohemian district of Lima with its numerous art galleries, restaurants and parks. There are several supermarkets, banks, convenience stores and other shopping within walking distance. From Barranco it is only a 10 minute ride in a cab to get to central Miraflores and f.e. the Larcomar shopping mall. Overall a very convenient location.

In order to reserve this apartment we require a 50% downpayment of the rent in advance. After booking we do not allow for cancelation and/or change of dates. The remaining 50% have to be paid upon arrival in cash and USD. We also require a $150 damage deposit which is fully refundable on the day of departure after a short inspection of the rental.

Ich kann dieses Apartment nur empfehlen!

Es hat alles super funktioniert. Der Flughafentransfer ohne Probleme. In der Wohnung angekommen warteten die netten Vermieter. Sie hatten sogar einige Getränke und etwas zu Essen für mich eingekauft, da ich erst am späten Abend in Lima eingetroffen war.
Es lief alles völlig unkompliziert ab und die Vermieter sind wirklich sehr hilfsbereit du freundlich.
Die Wohnung selber ist sehr schön geräumig. Ich habe wunderbar geschlafen und auch von der Lage habe ich sehr profitiert. Ich konnte nach Miraflores laufen und aber auch nach Barranco. Ich fühlte mich auch sehr sicher in der Gegend und in dem Apartment.
Nimmt man ein Taxi ist man ganz schnell überall im Zentrum für nur wenig Geld.
Die Küche habe ich nicht benutzt, da ich in der Umgebung überall sehr gut essen konnte.
Sollte ich nochmals nach Lima fahren, werde ich versuchen erneut hier zu wohnen.

I stayed in the Barranco apartment for two weeks in September/October. The apartment is very nice and comfortable. It is close to all the convieniences necessary stay. I cooked many of my own meals in the kitchen and enjoyed dinners sitting at the dining table and watching life go by out the from window. Cristina and her daughter Cristina were very helpful and easy to communicate with. Barranco is a lovely district and I spent many hours wandering the streets and taking photos. If you rent this property you will definitely enjoy your stay in Lima.
