Tonsupa is the quiet town and Atacames is the party town. Tonsupa has a much flatter beach. The bus stops about 1/2 block from the condo. It will stop anywhere you want on the route and it will also pick you up anywhere on the route, just wave your arm. A 20 cent and 15 minute bus ride will take you into Atacames. The bus passes though Tonsupa on the main highway. The main bus stop is two blocks from the town square where you'll find the local bank branch, church and other businesses. From the main bus stop you can take a bus to Same and Sua. There are many vendors in this area. Enjoy a bag of sliced mango for 50 cents. This stop is also close to the footbridge that will take you to the beach. If you want the stop that is closer to the beach just stay on the bus until it takes you 1 block from the Malecon.
