Vacation Rental Description
The apartment we let has 120m2 of floor space, is situated on the second floor and can host 6 people.
Both bedrooms have their own bathroom and dressing. The first bedroom is a double-bedded room. The second bedroom is a twin bedded room. In the living room there is a sofa that can be transformed in two 1-person beds. All of 6 sleeping places are equipped with good matresses for a comfortable sleep. The two bedrooms are equipped with silent split-airconditionings. Because of the good natural ventilation of the apartment, the use of the AC is barely needed.
The spacious living room has plenty of large windows to enjoy a panoramic view over the beach and ocean. The dining area has ample room and the sitting corner is equiped with sofa and TV. The apartment has as lovely open kitchen with a trendy breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equiped with gas cooker, oven, coffeemachine, blender, microwave, panini grill and a large refrigerator with freezer. All kitchen equipment is there for you to do your own cooking, but most of the time, you will prefer to enjoy a nice meal in one of Cumbuco's nice restaurants who will offer you tasty dishes at very affordable prices.
The two spacious terraces offer you a great view on the beach and the ocean. They have relax seats and hammocks to enjoy the beach life straight fom your seat. At sunset, you can see the village's fishermen set sail on their traditional jaganda's. Later on the day, when the wind swells, kite surfers take over to let you enjoy their acrobatic air jumps.
For the active surfer, each apartment has its private shed in the garden to stow away surf gear. Next to the apartment, there is a kite-school with english speaking instructors. They also rent windsurfing and kite-surfing material.
location
We have an apartment on the second floor in an apartment complex with 16 apartments. The condominio is situated straight on the beach so you can fully enjoy a marvellous seaview or a magnificent sunrise above the atlantic ocean from the living area, from all bedrooms and from the terraces. The apartment is situated 200m from the Cumbuco town center, with shops, bars and restaurants. Next door is a kite-surf centre which provides surf gear and lessons.
Nearest airport is Fortaleza which is at 40min taxi drive from Cumbuco. From Europe, direct flights are operated from Madrid (Iberia), Lissabon (TAP), Amsterdam (FlyBrazil - ArkeFly)
Suroundings
We let our spacious apartment for 6 persons in a small and peacefull fisherman's village named Cumbuco. Cumbuco is situated in the northeast of Brazil. This is the most developed and touristic region of the country with very low crime. The climate in this region is just perfect for everyone who loves the sun. With 300+ of sunny days a year and an average air temperature of 30°C and a constant water temperature of 27°C this is ideal for a unique beachholiday. The people in Brazil are also very kind and friendly towards the tourists and they will always help you if possible. The cost of living is much cheaper in Brazil compared to western Europe. Most of the products you buy there are 2-3 times cheaper than here. An other advantage of this region is the absence of any tropical storms. Very special about the weather in this region is the wind. The wind blows almost every day from the same direction and with a very constant force, this makes Cumbuco and its surrounding beaches to a very famous kitesurf-spot.
