'Casa Selva Caribe' is a new villa in a truly spectacular setting, right next to the natural Playacar bird sanctuary or aviary and on a front line to the golf course. The peace and tranquility of the setting is interrupted only by the tropical bird song, but it is still in a very central location for everything. The short walk to the beach is just a few minutes through a pleasant park with Mayan ruins. The main shops and restaurants of Playa del Carmen and 5th Avenue are just a 5 minute walk away.  
 
Set in the exclusive gated community of Playacar, this large two bedroom villa comfortably sleeps 8. The private patio leads out to the jungle views - between the villa and the golf course is only jungle! The front of the villa is just steps from the large shared pool and the famous Xaman-Ha bird sanctuary which is adjacent to the pool and just a few metres from the villa. With luck you may see the occasional toucan visit the pool area. 
 
Relax on the secluded patio or the upstairs terrace and listen to the natural sounds of tropical birds. The upstairs terrace has some great sunsets over the trees. 
 
From the jacuzzi / bath you can look out over the tree tops. 
Villa features: 
3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, each en suite. There is a large, shared, swimming pool just steps from your front door. The lounge has spectacular jungle views and opens out onto a private patio area, ideal for al fresco dining. There is a large gas patio cooker. Every room has ceiling fans and air conditioning, although the generous high ceilings give a luxurious and cool feel even on the hot days. The master bedroom has a jacuzzi and a private terrace with more great jungle views -you can sit in the jacuzzi with the open window and enjoy views of the jungle and listen to tropical bird song. 
 
Throughout the villa, the modern stylish Italian and Mexican furnishings compliment the house style. 
 
Downstairs: 
The lounge enjoys great views to the patio and jungle from two full length windows. Sky TV, Plasma screen TV. Multi region DVD. The third bedroom with its Queen size bed has jungle views and the bathroom/shower is adjacent. 
 
Modern dining area has a view to the patio and jungle. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a separate laundry room. Views from the kitchen to the swimming pool and aviary. 
 
Upstairs: 
The master bedroom has a King size bed, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi and private terrace with jungle views to the golf course. The second bedroom has two double beds, ensuite bathroom with shower and views of the large shared swimming pool and the Playacar aviary. 
 
Wi-Fi Internet access is free for guests. 
 
The large swimming pool is set in attractive and tranquil gardens, backed by the Playacar bird sanctuary. There is a palapa shaded area to relax. The swimming pool has a shallow area for children.

    • The secluded patio has jungle views and is front line to the Robert van Hagg golf course. Plentiful patio furniture and gas grill make it perfect for dining outside. The upstairs terrace also has jungle views and glimpses of the golf course. There is a large shared swimming pool right at the front of the villa, which backs onto the Playacar bird sanctuary.

    • The whole Riviera Maya is great for snorkelling and the Cozumel ferry is only a 5 minute walk from the villa.  
    The Mayan ruins of Tulum are a 40 minute drive away, those at Coba are about 2 hours and Chichen Itza is about 3 - 4 hours drive.

    Low Season - April 15 to December 15 - US$1,200 (minimum 3 nights) High Season - December 15 to April 15 - US$1,600 (minimum 3 nights) Christmas / New Year - US$2,900 (minimum 7 nights) These rates are subject to local tax. Payment by personal check, bank transfer, credit card.
