Casa de las Tortugas is a new home built with all the comforts of home, yet all the style of a true Mexican hacienda. The main floor of the home has a spacious, open floor plan. The comfortable living room, complete with a big screen TV, DVD, a docking station for your ipod, and wireless internet, is the perfect place to sit back and relax after a day of diving, or a day at the beach. The home has premium cable with channels such as HBO, or watch a movie from our DVD collection. Just off of the living room, in the dining room, is a large table with seating for 8. In the fully stocked modern kitchen, you will find everything you would need to prepare your meals at home. There is a Whirlpool gas stove, and fridge, as well as a water cooler. There is plenty of purified water provided for you for both cooking, and drinking. Just outside the kitchen, is a small patio with a stainless steel gas grill. It is the perfect spot for grilling your catch of the day, or just to sit and relax, and keep an eye on the kids in the pool.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The spacious master bedroom has a king size bed, and in the large bathroom there is a soaker tub. This room also has its own TV. The other 2 bedrooms each have queen size beds, and in their bathrooms there are showers. All beds in the home have comfortable Sealy pillow top mattresses, and 300 thread count sheets. All rooms in the home have both ceiling fans and AC.

The home is managed for me by a company on the island and during your stay they will provide you with daily maid service, except for Sundays and holidays. There is a telephone in the home for your use, and the management company is available for you 24 hours a day should you have any questions or problems. It is not necessary to rent a car, as most things are close by. The grocery store is 3 blocks away, and the main plaza, is just a short 10 minute walk straight down the street. Many guests do rent cars during their stay, and if you do decide to rent a car, there is secured parking for your vehicle at the home.

Casa de las Tortugas, with its Mexican charm, and central location, is the perfect vacation home for a families or divers, wanting a true Mexican getaway.
