Paradise! Sun! Tropical aqua-blue waters and white sandy beaches that you can explore for miles! Enjoy your own private Beach House on the Yucatan's Gulf of Mexico. This comforable, spacious beach home offers beautiful ocean views and fresh sea breezes day and night. Just a few steps off the front patio and your private gate opens onto a secluded beach where you can sit in your comfy beachchair, snorkel, sail, kayak, fish, shell, or just float in the warm emerald waters of the Gulf. Back at the house, the upstairs deck offers spectacular views of the ocean in front or a view of Celestun's Nature Reserve in back. Spend time sunning, relaxing with a good book, or just admiring clear blue skies, incredible sunsets, or star filled night skies.

The house is equipped with a full kitchen and dining area (5m x 6m), all utensiles, microwave, juicer, coffee maker, full stove and refrigerator. The living room area (4m x 8m) offers a DVD player with numerous movies, CD/VCR player, TV with English satellite TV, DSL internet service, and an extensive library. There is a gas BBQ and washing machine for your use at the house. All linens, beach chairs, towels, floats, etc. are included. The kitchen is also supplied with paper goods, soap, oil, condiments, etc. The bedroom (4m x 8m) is furnished with a king size bed; upon request, renters can select to have 2 single beds instead.

Celestun is located in the protected Biosphere Reserve of Ria Celestun, is famous for its numerous seafood restaurants and offers such activities as wildlife viewing, fishing, canoe trips into the tropical rain forests, boat trips to the feeding grounds of the Pink Flamingo and thousands of other tropical birds. Hike through the rain forest or go biking and explore for miles.

For your shopping needs, the town market, easy walking distance from the house, offers a variety of fruits and vegetables while fresh fish, seafood, poultry, pork and beef and be purchased directly from the fishermen or at the meat market. Most staples can be found at the corner groceries, and fresh baked breads and pastries are available daily.

Merida, capital of the State of Yucatan, is just an hour away and offers great shopping, dining, art, museums, and numerous sight seeing tours. Enjoy a side trip to the Maya Ruins of Uxmal, Chichen Itza, refurbished working Spanish Haciendas such as Sotuta de Peon, the natural caves of Lotuum, or explore the many little villages along the way.

One-half of rent due when making reservation. Balance due upon arrival. All but $100 of deposit returned if reservation cancelled before 6 weeks of arrival date. Price is for 2 adults. Rental for 4=$700 per week. Monthly rates available upon request.
