This beautiful house is beachfront on the Sea of Cortez, in Kino Bay, Sonora, Mexico. This is a town next to a small fishing village, west of Hermosillo, and north of San Carlos. The beach is sandy and 11 Km long. This town is quiet and family oriented. It is very easy to get to, driving from Arizona, or flying into Hermosillo. It is a quiet fishing vilage with a handful of good restaurants. You can rent ATV's or Jet Ski's. There are no disco's or bars. Fish can be bought from the local fishermen. There are small stores for groceries, and sundries.

The house is spacious and comfortable. There are three bedrooms downstairs, each with two twin beds. There is a large master suite upstairs with a king size bed, TV and DVD (no cable tv though,) and an office area. There are two outside porches on the beach side. There is a full kitchen with a gas stove. There is a washer dryer in an outside bodega.

There is no telephone, internet, or cable tv. Cell phone use depends on the company, not all companies get reception in the area. There are local pay phones, and local internet cafe's.

The Sea of Cortez is home to many types of whales and other sea life. Fishing is great here, as is swimming. The water is warm from late April through November.

Beach, Boating, Fishing, Hiking, Restaurant, Shopping, Water Sports and Rental

There are not many activities here as the town is small. It is possible to rent boats for fishing, or eco-tours of the islands in the Sea of Cortez. One can also rent ATV's and Jet Ski's. The mountains have good hiking, and are close. It is too hot to hike in the heat of the day in the summer, as this is in the Sonoran Desert. The Island in the Sea of Cortez are considered the "Galapagos of the North" and are good to tour with a guide.
