Vacation Rental Description
Welcome to Casa Dos Palmas.
Join us.
Join us at one of the few remaining beachfront homes in Bucerias, and all of Puerto Vallarta. As more and more developers buy beachfront property for multi-storey condominiums or resorts, the number of true beachfront homes has shrunken to a handful.
This is one of them.
For those wishing nightlife, and crowded beaches swarming with beach vendors, you’ve come to the wrong place.
For those looking for a fully modern, self-contained home directly on a sandy beach; for those looking for privacy and seclusion, but also access to restaurants and bars; for those looking for the real Mexico – its wonderful people, its simple charms, its lack of McDonalds and Hooters and Chili’s restaurants – you have all come to the right place.
This 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 storey Canadian-owned villa is located in Bucerias, Mexico, approximately 20 minutes North of Puerto Vallarta. Often described as “what Puerto Vallarta was 40 years ago”, Bucerias has an excellent reputation among travellers. Moon Handbooks (Puerto Vallarta) confirms that, “Bucerias features the longest creamiest beach on the Bay of Banderas”, a point confirmed in Fodor’s (Puerto Vallarta) 2008 Guide: “The beach here is endless.”
Features of Casa dos Palmas
Casa dos Palmas is a newly-built, privately gated beachfront home in Bucerias, Mexico. There are two other smaller dwellings on the property whose guests may have access to the pool, but Casa dos Palmas is the villa closest to the beach. With its own separate patio with table and chairs, it’s the perfect place to start your day with breakfast, and to wind the evening down with a glass of wine by candlelight. Featuring a lush courtyard, tropical gardens and a beautiful swimming pool, this beach house provides the perfect opportunity and setting to relax. Unforgettable sunrises and sunsets await.
This detached dwelling – this is not a condominium unit – is situated directly on spectacular beach (Playa Huanacaxtle), with miles of silky soft sand, perfect for lounging, walking or jogging – or collecting seashells. The ocean is calm and undertow-free. The sand is a velvet carpet underfoot. The beach is just 12 steps from the pool.
What to do? The possibilities are limitless. For those who enjoy the slow pace, relax with a book in the sun or shade. Have your morning coffee on the deck, listening to the soft ‘clink-clink-clink’ of the oyster-divers. Stretch out in the lounge chairs provided – there’s no need to get up at 6:00 am to “reserve” your lounge chair. Float around aimlessly on a floatie in the pool, with the sound of gently cascading water from the pool fountain washing away your stress. Walk down the shallow steps directly on to the beach, let the kids build sand castles, and relax under the palapas with a cold drink or two. Barbeque at sunset over the open grill, as you overlook the ocean and the winking lights of the picturesque marina down the beach at La Cruz. Let the softly rolling surf lull you to sleep at day’s end.
Security guard on-site every evening.

If you like to cook, Casa dos Palmas is fully equipped. Shop locally! There are numerous local mini-supermarkets nearby, stocking all manner of fresh and dry goods. If you’d prefer the convenience of a modern, large supermarket, stocking everything from eggs to liquor to plasma TV’s, no problem: a new Mega store exists just outside town limits, about a 10 minute drive from the casa. A brand new Wal-Mart is 15 minutes away. If you don't like to cook, we can help there too: contact our concierge, and for a modest price, a traditional Mexican meal (or meal of your choice) will be cooked for you in the casa, and the dishes will be done as well!

Try the breaks at Sayulita or San Pancho, 15 minutes away. Golfer? Take your pick: Flamingos is a 5 minute drive, Paradise Village (El Tigre) is 10 minutes away, as is the Mayan Palace.
