There are wonderful Hot Springs and Spas just a short distance from San Miguel. My favorite is La Gruta. Hire a taxi for $20 to drop you off and pick you up at the end of the day. Entry fee is only $7 per person and they serve a fine lunch in a relaxed garden atmosphere. The baths themselves are fabulous with pools of various temperatures, a swimming pool and large lawn area.
