Vacation Rental Description
La Casa Arriba is located within the historic central district of San Miguel de Allende, on a hill overlooking the main square and picturesque Spanish colonial churches and civic buildings. The property is comprised of three separate casitas, each of which has 1 bedroom and one bath. It is ideal for couples or for families or groups of friends since the three casitas are independent from each other for privacy but are arranged around a central shared garden for easy communication and communal gathering. Each of the suites has a private sitting area and patio or terrace. There are also three shared terraces for the enjoyment of each other's company - as well as the beautiful sunsets. All of the casitas have small kitchenettes to keep light food and drinks and there is also a shared central kitchen off of the garden for more elaborate meal preparation. Each casita is unique, as described below.La Casita Escondida is, as its name implies, hidden away. It is tucked into the quietest and most secluded part of the Casa with a private entrance and private patio with a weeping wall fountain. It has a generously sized bedroom with fireplace and a separate sitting room, both of which look out into the patio. The sitting room has a full glass wall onto the central courtyard. Like all of the casitas, it has a private bath with shower, a kitchenette for morning coffee, light meals and snacks, and a desk for writing or other more serious pursuits. However, because it is tucked away at the interior of the house, it does not have the view. For that there is the El Cielo roof terrace at the top of the stair just outside the sitting room.
La Casita Terraza is named after its grand private terrace which is the size of the room itself and has a 180 degree view of the center of town and the Parroquia church which is beautifully lit every night. The room is L-shaped with the sitting area around the fireplace in one arm and the sleeping area in the other. Its desk is in a windowed bay that looks out onto the terrace and the view. Its bath is luxurious: very large with both tub and shower and with a floor to ceiling wall of glass that has the same view as the terrace.
La Casita Alhambra is furnished with an exotic Moroccan flair. It is a very large room with areas for sitting, writing, sleeping, and dining. The casita has a kitchen, private bath, and a Moroccan-style den with lounging pillows around a central fountain. It also has a private terrace with a view overlooking the historic district.
Facilities
La Casa Arriba is cared for by a housekeeper, gardener, and handyman. All linens are provided and each casita is cleaned at least twice per week.

When availability is confirmed for the desired casita(s), a registration form will be sent which provides details regarding cancellation and other policies. The reservation is confirmed after the completed registration form and a 50% deposit is received. The remaining 50% will be collected upon arrival, along with a $150 USD security deposit. Payment should be in US dollars or Mexican pesos unless other arrangements are agreed in advance. For longer stays, a monthly rate may be available, which varies according to the time of year. The security deposit will be returned in full after departure and verification that no property damage has occurred.
