Vacation Rental Description
This house is a half block from the malecon of the Sea of Cortez and the Bay of La Paz. The malecon is a pedestrian-only walkway along the bay. Local people walk on the malecon for exercise in the morning and stroll for social reasons in the evening. You can watch them for the balconies and terrace or you can join them! There are many restaurants within walking distance, including the finest restaurant (Las Tres Virgenes) in La Paz. There is a pizza parlor and seafood restaurant within one block of the house. A rental car agency is 2 blocks away. Public transportation is readily available and the buses will take you out to the swimming beaches north of town. Want to learn Spanish? A Spanish school is 2 blocks away. Kayak rental is not far away. 
 
The house has one bedroom downstairs with private bath. There is a king size bed in this room. There is a washer, dryer, clothesline on this level. 
The living tier has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, half bath, and balcony. A sofa bed is on this level. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and a well stocked grocery store is within walking distance. Farmers markets are now open. The next floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a private bath. There is a king size bed in one room that has a balcony; the other room has twin beds. 
The next floor is the rooftop terrace with a full bath. There is a charcoal barbeque here. 
There is secured parking for one car (or 2 small) on the ground level.

    • Views of the Sea of Cortez from the rooftop terrace is a great way to start and end the day. Coffee or tea to begin and margaritas with the famous La Paz sunsets at the end. Our neighborhood is close to what is called "Restaurant Way" with many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Secured parking is supplied, but you may find you do not need a car. Two new golf courses have opened in La Paz. The local Mexicans start their day exercising by walking on the "malecon", (the traffic free walkway by the water) and end the day with family strolling there.

    • La Paz is the capital of Baja California Sur and, although it still has a small town feel, it is a large enough city to have cultural events. There are concerts, art openings, and lots of parades. The local people will use any excuse for a parade...be it religious, political, cultural...you can see the parades from the house. Watch from the balcony or terrace or rush out to join the fun!

    Minimum stay is 4 days; $190 USD per day. Half of the rental cost as a personal check or PayPal account holds your reservation. There is a $500 USD security deposit that is due when the final half of the rent is due. This deposit, personal check, is held and not cashed unless necessary after your stay. There is a $50 USD non-refundable cleaning fee. There is a rental contract to be signed.
