Many beaches along the coastline are not safe for swimming. Most of the beaches along the Cabo bay are safe including the areas around Misiones. The most popular beaches are those along the bay towards town (around the area of The Office). Activities are available along the beach including parasailing, Jet Ski rentals, sailboats, kayaks, glass bottom boats, & water taxis out to Lover’s Beach – a beach on a secluded section of beach near the Arch. The small beach down the cliff is safe for swimming.
ATV Rides: Available through several companies offering rides into the desert or along the coast in the dunes north of town.
Golf: There are several great golf courses along the corridor, many bordering the coastline. One of the more economical courses is the Raven course located along the north side of the road towards town from Misiones. Some of the courses in the area are rated very high by golf magazines for their quality.

Downtown Cabo is filled with shops & flea markets. One store to mention is called Artesano’s, located about half way into town on the south side. They have a wide variety of items & take only cash. Prices are usually as good as or better than in town.
Boats are available in the marina for fishing, The front desk can arrange a boat for you, we have used their services have been pleased (and caught lots of fish). There is good fishing from the beach around the Misiones point, both to the east & west sides.
The beach off the east side of the resort is fine for snorkeling. There are two larger bays good for snorkeling also, they are located east of Misiones. Located about 8km from the Misiones exit to the east is Santa Maria Bay (located near the Twin Dolphin Hotel), which may be the best snorkeling spot in the area. Further east about 4km is Chileno Beach, which also has good snorkeling. Both areas have rental facilities.
