Tres Corazones is a private home sitting serenely on a small rise above La Mision’s beautiful, white, sandy shore. Stone terraces cascade down to a large deck just high enough above the beach to give you a feeling of privacy.

The day stretches out before you beckoning you to play in the sand and the surf. Surrounded by courtyards, patios and gardens there are plenty of places to escape to on a lazy afternoon. Perhaps you will simply read a book in the shade on the deck, a soft breeze ruffling the umbrella in your Pin~a Colada.

Large wood and wrought-iron gates sit in a twelve foot wall separating Tres Corazones from the La Mision village streets and adventures to be had in enchanting Mexico.

One of eight original homes built on Playa La Mision in the 1950’s,
Tres Corazones has been carefully remodeled to reflect a contemporary
lifestyle, while maintaining its original charm and splendor.
Relax, allow yourself to be pampered by your surroundings, play, or
stroll on the beach, enjoy the numerous courtyards, patios and
gardens, or simply recline on the Tres Corazones terraces, as you
watch the Pacific waves washing sunlit shores.

Tres Corazones is tastefully appointed for your enjoyment and comfort. A
stress free environment - restful by nature - creates an enchanted
experience for guests, while offering accommodations an adventurer
from the modern world might desire. With beach front access and
spectacular views in all directions La Mision’s long, white, sandy
beach is beautiful and can provide many surprising adventures.

We have a concierge/caretaker, Cesar, who sees that all is running
properly. He is there five days a week. Cesar works on the house
unobtrusively but is available to help if you need him. A lot of
care and love has gone into the restoration and remodeling of
Tres Corazones to insure a comfortable stay for our family and our guests.
We would love to include you in our growing list of friends and guests
at Tres Corazones.

Extras Available for a fee: Tres Corazones offers plenty of extras to make your stay even more enjoyable. We want to share with you a few of our favorite things that have made our visits special over the years. Please be sure to reserve them in advance of your stay.

Fresh Tortillas:Fresh handmade tortillas delivered to you in the morning. Delicate and delicious flour tortillas $5.50 per dozen

Tamales delivered:Savory handmade tamales in beef, chicken and pork, or dessert tamales in pineapple other dessert options available $1.25 each.

A Traditional Breakfast or Lunch:For a traditional Mexican style meal - $8 per head, $40 per meal Minimum
Cooking for one meal a day, breakfast or lunch only (includes prep and clean-up*). Menus are decided on ahead of time. Any adjustments to meals or people attending need to be handled through our concierge Cesar Mora. By reservation only.

Gourmet Chef: Marla Poggi is available for private dining or catered events. Maid Service: Providing a relaxing vacation away from the day to day tasks in your busy life is something that Tres Corazones takes very seriously. Why not spend more of your precious time off doing the things that you enjoy and allow us to take care of the rest. Aside from the standard cleaning fee, we offer additional maid service for those who want to relax and experience what we like to call "los Tres Corazones hospitalidad."

On the beach in front of Tres Corazones, is an estuary to the south, tide pools to the north, great surfing, horse back riding, you can watch Dolphin play or the seasonal whale migrations. Stroll through wonderfully interesting beach neighborhoods. The cool Baja nights are perfect to enjoy a beach fire pit, or relax with your favorite beverage on the starlit terraces. Indoors, the warmth of the 'Tres Corazones' fireplace in the main guest area of the master suite has comfortable lounge seating and reading areas. There is a small colonia near-by with restaurants, a bakery (panaderia), grocery store, and hardware store. The famous La Fonda restaurant is two minutes away with live music and dancing at night and a great brunch on its palapa covered ocean view patio. Rosarito, Puerto Nuevo and Ensenada are all within minutes for shopping, dining and play. The Valley of Guadelupe’s wine country is an hour’s drive south.

Holidays and High Season are for the entire house only. The full house consists of two bedrooms; one master suite, and one loft suite. Each has its own private keyed entrance. Off season rentals can rent individual suites and rooms as needed: Master suite - has a fireplace, kitchen, great room, one queen bedroom, bathroom, and an additional bathroom off the kitchen. Loft suite - has a queen sized bed and balcony upstairs, a fireplace, living area with bath downstairs. There are two additional rooms. One room has a Queen size bed, the other has two twin sized beds. Both have separate baths. There is a standard minimum stay of two nights. Major holidays require a four night minimum stay. All other holidays require a three night minimum stay. Daily Rental Rates* $550 ...... Full house rental $250 ...... Master suite $200 ...... Loft suite $125 ....... Additional bedrooms ea. Special rates for weekly and long term retreats.
