This country house is ideal for a family get together, or a group of friends looking for a relaxing break in a secluded Yorkshire village, with it's large garden and modern facilities. It is also ideal for a walking holiday, and we do not mind 1 well behaved dog. 
Danby railway station is ¼ mile away and takes you to Whitby and the surrounding villages by the scenic route. 
Also nearby are local Inns with restaurant facilities, a high quality village bakery with a tearoom, a health shop, The National Park Moors Centre with tearooms, and of course Danby Castle. 
Danby is 1½ miles away from Castleton where there is a supermarket, village shop, hairdressers and garage selling petrol/diesel. 
Brackenedge comfortably sleeps 8 - 11, with ample living, dining, bedroom and bathroom facilities. 
Ground floor consists of lounge with open fire, comfy seating for 9 people, Sky TV and DVD player. Sitting room with freeview TV and DVD player, seating for 9 people including a sofa bed turning it into a 5th bedroom if required. Dining room with seating for 12 people, freeview TV and wireless broadband. Well equipped kitchen. Bedroom 1 with kingsize bed and chair bed. Bathroom with electric shower and bath. Seperate WC. 
 
First floor consists of Bedroom 2 with kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom with electric shower and WC. Bedroom 3 with 2 single beds and access to Jack and Jill bathroom with electric shower and WC. Bedroom 4 with full size bunk beds and ensuite WC. All bedrooms are equipped with an alarm clock and hairdryer. 
There is a large enclosed garden ideal for children and adults alike, with outdoor dining facilities on the decking area, and outside dining facilities and gas barbecue with shading from trees and overlooking moorland at the top of the garden.
