Moorlands is a luxurious 250 year old Grade II listed sunny and spacious second home set high in the tiny hamlet of Blades. With magnificent views over upper Swaledale and surrounded by open moor grazed by Swaledale sheep and cattle, it is only five minutes from the village of Low Row with its famous Punch Bowl Inn and gastro-cuisine. Dales cottage features include large farmhouse fully equipped kitchen, stone fireplaces with wood burning stoves and beamed ceilings. The cottage has full bottled gas central heating and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Moorlands is located in excellent walking country and is warm, welcoming and a delight to return to after a day exploring the surrounding hills and attractions. There are four bedroom:- two with double beds, one with a double bed and a single bed (the latter to be replaced during the season with bunk beds) and a single bedded room. Also available is a baby's cot.

The kitchen and the main sitting room both have log burning stoves and there is a second TV/games room with a coal fire,colour TV with freeview channels,DVD player and tape player; also many children's toys and games.

The front garden is enclosed and fronts onto the common. It is south facing and catches the sun for most of the day (when it is sunny). There is a child's sandpit, an inflatable paddling pool, and adult mountain bike and a child's bike and scooters. Bikes can be stored safely in the lockable stable. On the west side is a small patio which catches the late afternoon sun.

Logs are stored in the carthouse and all gas, electricity, logs and coal are included in the rent.

High Season Price : £875 per Week

Deposit of 20% on booking, balance required 8 weeks before holiday. All payments to be in pounds sterling. A deposit against damage is required of £200 per booking (returnable within 2 weeks after the holiday ends). Payment to be by cheque or by direct transfer to Owner's UK bank account (any bank costs for account of tenant). If cancellation by tenant between 4 - 8 weeks before holiday start, Owner reserves right to charge 50% (or if less than 4 weeks notice 100%) of full rental unless cottage can be relet for same period at same rental.
