This semi-detached former dairy is situated in Raby Castle, just seven miles from Barnard Castle and sleeps two people in one bedroom.

Anvil Cottage is a former dairy which has been fully renovated, and is situated seven miles from Barnard Castle. With one double bedroom and a bathroom, as well as an open plan living area, this is a great cottage for a romantic getaway. Outside there is a shared courtyard area, and off road parking for two cars. With lots to do in the area, Anvil Cottage is an ideal place to base yourself for your holiday.

All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike and equipment storage available. Large, rear shared courtyard with seating. front decked area with furniture, BBQ, heater and countryside views. Wildlife observation deck and seating overlooking the ponds. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pub 2 miles. Note: Owners live next door in the farmhouse. Note: Access to property is via Hummerbeck Lane bridleway, which is not a tarmac surface.

Activities

Barnard Castle is a market town in Teesdale, situated within unspoilt countryside. The town is on the site of a Roman ford, which crosses the river, plus the medieval ruins of the castle and the cobble streets, yards, and back lanes are well worth seeing. From the town, there is excellent walking with The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, River Tees and the waterfalls at High Force all nearby.

				Low Season Price:	£252 per Week
				High Season Price:	£422 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
