The gorgeous Bakers Cottage is a 200 year old, stone built cottage in the lovely village of Gilling West, near Richmond. The cottage sleeps four and has two bedrooms.

Bakers Cottage, which was originally a bakers shop is a wonderful 200 year old, stone built terraced cottage. Bakers Cottage is situated in the quiet village of Gilling West, just three miles from Richmond. The lovely sitting room has a wonderful beamed ceiling and oil fired stove – perfect to relax in after a busy day. Bakers Cottage also has a well equipped, fitted kitchen with a stable door which overlooks the patio. Bakers Cottage sleeps four and has two bedrooms – one double and one 2nd floor twin. The cottage also has a dining room and bathroom. Bakers Cottage is an ideal base to explore this wonderful area at any time of the year.

Activities

Gilling West is a wonderful village set in scenic countryside and is winner of ‘Yorkshire in Bloom’. The village boasts a pretty church, two pubs that serve food and a shop/Post Office. From Gilling West, there are footpaths and bridleways, plus fishing is available nearby. Just three miles away is the bustling market town of Richmond which has many amenities such as shops, pubs and restaurants. The magnificent Castle sits high above the River Swale and is an impressive sight. The Castle Walk – a terrace walk beneath the castle walls is a lovely walk to enjoy. Richmond also has pretty cobbled streets and narrow alleys, plus a beautiful market place where a weekly market and monthly farmer’s market are held. A walk along the River Swale with parks, paddling areas and small waterfalls is a wonderful way to relax. 				Low Season Price:	£255 per Week
				High Season Price:	£478 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
