This pet friendly, stone built semi detached cottage sleeps 4 people in the village of Selside in the centre of the famous Three Peaks close to Horton-in-Ribblesdale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
This is a lovely property that dates back around 300 years, and sits next to Selside village green. It’s a pretty semi-detached stone built cottage which has been lovingly restored and offers beautifully decorated and comfortable oak-floored accommodation which still has many original features including the feature windows and beams. This cottage successfully combines the charm of the old with the convenience of the new, from its warm and welcoming sitting area with a wood burning stove to the modern kitchen and stylish bathroom. Situated at the centre of the Three Peaks, the property is in the perfect location for exploring the area. Take the scenic walking trails from the village of Selside over the incredible mountains of Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough and experience the spectacular views, or take a quiet stroll around the little village if you’re not quite ready to scale the heights!

Oil central heating with additional heating from wood-burning stove in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer (in barn opposite), shared use of owner’s washing machine by arrangement, colour TV, DVD player etc. Fuel, power and starter pack for wood-burning stove inc. in rent. Additional bags of fuel supplied by owner at £2.50 per bag (honesty box). Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Mature enclosed garden with garden furniture. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pub 2.5 miles. Note: Water comes from a local borehole and is unsuitable for drinking unless boiled. Owner will provide 5 litres of drinking water per booking. Note: This cottage is only suitable for children aged 10 and over.
Selside is a pretty Dales village set in the centre of the famous Three Peaks and is a village of traditional cottages with a lovely green. The splendid countryside that surrounds the village offers wonderful fell walking, giving walkers the opportunity to tackle the well-known Three Peaks Walk.
