This lovely stone-built terraced cottage in the heart of the pretty village of Lofthouse is 300 years old and is set in magnificent Nidderdale, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Renovated to retain much of its original character, this fantastic period property boasts wonderful beamed ceilings, exposed stonework, a fabulous sitting room with flagstone floor and open fire. The small cottage garden with patio furniture and barbecue provide an excellent excuse for some outdoor dining whilst on colder days guests can enjoy a spell in front of the open fire.

Set amidst the stunning moorland scenery and lush green meadows of Nidderdale, the pretty village of Lofthouse is idyllically situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Home to a charming, old-world pub - 'The Crown' – this quaint little village also boasts a general store and post office. Offering a wider range of amenities is the historic city of Ripon with its ancient crypt that’s over a thousand years old, the Yorkshire Law & Order Museums, a bustling weekly market, an International Music Festival and the Ripon Races. If you prefer a more relaxed pace, though, why not explore the wealth of riverside and canal walks, or the famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal Garden? Lofthouse is also well placed for trips to the Yorkshire Dales, the North York Moors, Harrogate, Knaresborough and York.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
