This stone built cottage adjoins the owner's home in the Yorkshire Dales village of Arkengarthdale and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.

Low Lock Slack Cottage is a stone-built cottage adjoining the owner’s home on a traditional Yorkshire Dales farm in Arkengarthdale. With two double bedrooms and one family room as well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep six people. The rest of the accommodation comprises a kitchen with a dining area and a multi fuel stove and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside the cottage is a patio and garden area with furniture and plenty of off road parking. Set on a rural farm, Low Lock Slack Cottage provides a true rural getaway for anyone looking for a bit of peace and quiet.

Electric central heating and additional heating from open fire and stove. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, automatic washer, colour TV, video etc. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Linen can be provided at £5 p.p.p.w. Incoming telephone. Cot and highchair on request. Paved patio and garden area, garden furniture and picnic table. Ample parking. One pet under strict control and by arrangement only. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 3 miles, two pubs within 10-15 mins walk. Set in the heart of what fans call ‘James Herriot’ country, the unspoilt Arkengarthdale village of Langthwaite is surrounded by spectacular, breathtaking countryside. Just three miles from Swaledale and the popular village of Reeth, this is a great place from which to explore all that the stunning Yorkshire Dales have to offer. The village itself boasts both a pub and a second inn, just outside of Langthwaite, which offers food of a high standard. Pony trekking and equestrian activities are plentiful and available throughout the area, offing tuition to novices. Nearby is the ancient town of Richmond with its fantastic, imposing castle and various charming shops and tea rooms. Also within easy driving distance are Barnard Castle and the lovely, quaint market town of Leyburn.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
