Settle is a mile away and has a wide range of restaurants, tea rooms, 3 supermarkets, Post Office, Newsagents, Butchers, Gift Shops, Chemist, Library, Doctors/Dentist. The Dales are famous for walking, caveing, cycling, sightseeing being 20 minutes from the Lake District - Kirkby Lonsdale; 40 minutes from Kendal. A very central area with trainlines to Leeds/London Morecombe line to Lancaster from Giggleswick. There is so much to do in the area that it is hard to mention it all a portfolio is held in the house for its holidaymakers to make the best use of their visit. Cycle hire is available from Settle. The famous Settle to Carlisle Railway has steam engines running at cetain times of the year. A market is held every Tuesday in Settle. Skipton has a market 3 times a week and is 30 minutes drive away. Leeds Bradford Airport is 1 hour away. Manchester Airport 1 and a half hours. Newcastle 2 hours. Liverpool 2 hours away. Blackpool 1 and a half hours. Train direct from Kings Cross to Leeds 2 and a half hours connection to Settle and Giggleswick can be achieved from Leeds very easily. Hull Ferryport is 2 hours away.
