Seacliffe Holiday flat is a privately owned, well equipped and comfortably furnished holiday flat with fantastic views over Filey Beach and Filey Brigg. Our holiday flat is contained on the ground floor of a picturesque seafront Victorian flat and is the ideal base to explore Filey and beyond. It is within easy walking distance of Filey town center, Filey cobble landing and local amenities. The flat sleeps six and consists of a large lounge, three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and outside space to the front and back. All accommodation is located on the ground floor. The flat contains a lot of original features including high ceilings throughout and benefits from comfortable and modern furnishings. All rooms are carpetted and centrally heated. 
 
Parking: 
 
Parking is free on the seafront outside the flat (space permitting). There are also a number of disabled parking spaces directly in front of the flat. 
 
Location: 
 
The flat is on Filey seafront within easy walking distance of local amenities. It is a short drive to Scarborough, Bridlington, Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough head. Filey has many attractions for the visitor and has easy access to the sites of North Yorkshire. 
 
About Filey: 
 
Filey is an excellent resort for families wanting to escape to the seaside. It was once a fishing village and still retains the small town charm.  
 
Filey became popular as a Victorian seaside resort and has some lovely buildings from this period. The Victorian facade of the Crescent is complemented by beautiful gardens and parks which have won Filey "Town in Bloom" awards on many occasions.  
 
The Brigg is an excellent place to walk and explore and was once home to a Roman Signal station, the remains of which can be seen in the Filey town gardens. 
 
Filey has a selection of traditional pubs, cafes and restaurants. 
 
There are many activities for a visitor to our flat: 
• Bird watching (Bempton Cliffs are famous for its puffin colony)  
• Relax on the 5 mile beach 
• Explore the rock pools and hunt for fossils on Filey Brigg  
• Walking 
• Fishing 
• Sailing

• Enjoy the small children's fun fare  
• Explore St Oswalds church (Saxon) 
 
Near Filey: 
 
Scarborough is only 7 miles north of Filey and has an extensive shopping centre and many entertainments including clubs, pubs and cinemas.  
 
Filey is an excellent base to explore the sites of Yorkshire. These include the historic towns of York and Whitby and the traditional picturesque villages of Pickering and Robin hoods bay. There are also many heritage/National Trust properties nearby including Castle Howard and Rievaulx Abbey. And of course, the beautiful countryside of the North York moors.

The flat has a no smoking and no pets policy. What's included in the price? Gas and electricity are included in the price as well as one set of bed linen (per bed) and one bath towel per person (towels are not to be taken out of the flat). Deposit You will need to provide a £100 deposit to secure the booking. This will then act as your retainer and will be returned assuming the flat does not need extensive cleaning, the property has not been damaged or you cancel the booking. Cancellation policy Any cancellations must be confirmed in writing to Sam Herbert (email or letter). If you cancel more than six weeks in advance of your booking a full refund will be given. Cancellations after six weeks and before three weeks will lose the £100 deposit. If you have to cancel with less than 3 weeks notice unfortunately we cannot offer any refund.
