Vacation Rental Description
A light & airy cottage all on one floor – ideal for those with children &/or restricted mobility (but not specifically converted for wheelchair use). This holiday cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms – I twin & 1 super king. The kitchen dining roon features a fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven and microwave. There is a large table with 4 chairs.
The sitting room is lovely and light with two windows, there are beams, an oak floor and matching light oak furniture. A colourful comfortable rug and soft Multiyork sofas add colour to the room. The cottage is heated by geo thermal underfloor heating and there is a lovely feature wood burner with glass sides giving great view of the fire.
The master bedroom is a superking - which can be set up as a twin if required, the second twin room can also be converted to an extra king. This flexibility makes the cottage ideal for either a family, four friends or two couples. There is no room in this cottage for a put up bed but a travel cot will fit in the master bedroom. The bathroom is a wetroom fully tiled with travertine.
Foldyard cottage can be connected to the adjacent Barn House for larger parties of up to 12.

Outside the cottage has a lovely large garden with patio area for outside dining, there is a large feature pergola with grapevines (very young ones at the moment!)

Hull, the only city in the East Riding of Yorkshire has a proud maritime heritage and has seen many exciting developments in recent years, the city has embarked on a programme of regeneration and renewal, there are new shopping areas, attractions and the cities cultural & nightlife has blossomed. Broadgate Farm Cottages is to the North East of Hull about 10 miles from the centre.
Museums:
Wilberforce House - A museum dedicated to the life of William Wilberforce – the Hull MP who spearheaded the fight for the abolition of slavery
Arctic Corsair - a trawler
Hull and East Riding Museum - which contains the Hasholme Logboat (Britain's largest surviving prehistoric logboat), examples of local Roman mosaic, and a huge resident Mammoth!
Streetlife and Transport Museum, clamber onboard trams and coaches or wander around the old shops in this delightful museum.

- Travel Info: We are only two miles from the centre of Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire at the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and less than one mile from our nearest village Walkington. Beverley train station is less than two miles away and we are on a bus route.
