The region offers many places of historic interest, such as Warwick Castle, Blenheim Palace,and the delights of Oxford. There are many properties and gardens to be enjoyed - Hidcote gardens, Snowshill Manor, Baddesley Clinton, Packwood House, all National Trust. Kiftsgate garden and Batsford Arboretum are examples of very individual style days out.

Stratford-on-Avon, Shakespeare's birthplace is 7 miles away and offers excellent shopping, dining and entertainment facilities, including the world famous Royal Shakespeare Company. The remarkable Orchestra of the Swan have regular concert seasons in the Town Hall - a must for music lovers. The nearby villages of Halford, Newbold, Alderminster and Long Compton have good restaurants and there is a pub in Tredington itself offering meals.
