Waterside over looks the river Teme and is very close to Ludlow town centre. Pubs, restaurants and river walks are just two minutes away. There is garage parking on site.
Vacation Rental Description
Waterside is a large deatched house with superb views of the River Teme, close to the centre of Ludlow. It is not overlooked by other houses and does not flood. This spacious self catering accommodation has been completed updated with new bathrooms, kitchen, heating system and carpets. It comfortably accommodates 6 people but is ideal for 2. The accommodation, on the ground floor, consists of a hall, a large sitting room, dining room and kitchen, which can also be used for dining. There is a separate utility room and cloakroom with shower. On the first floor, are three good-sized bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over the bath. One double bedroom is ensuite, with shower room and toilet, and has a walk in wardrobe. There is another double bedroom and a twin bedded room. Both double bed rooms have river views. There is a balcony over looking Horseshoe Weir that lets you watch the heron, swans and the world go by. (Young children must be supervised by an adult when using the balcony at all times).
There are gardens to the front, side and rear that are mainly lawned with flower beds. There is an unfenced pond at the rear.
The town centre is 5 minutes walk away as are river walks and Whitcliffe common. There is free fishing close by and numerous places for anglers and angling in the surrounding area. Or you can use this vacation rental as a base to explore Shropshire, an unspoilt part of England, and the nearby Welsh borders. Short breaks, weekend and midweek are available all year round. The property is not suitable for wheel chair users or the infirmed.
If you stay with us the rental charge is based on the number of bedrooms you will use, so you do not get charged for bedrooms you do not need. So when enquirying let us know the number in your party and the number of bedrooms required and we will let you know the cost of staying with us.
Services included: Electricity, full gas CH,bed linen and towels. Flat sceen television with free view and with DVD player in sitting room. Radio/cassette/CD player. Washing machine/tumble dryer. Microwave. Fridge. Electric cooker. Dishwasher. All bedrooms have hair driers.
When booking a 50% deposit is required with the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.

Ludlow has built up a national reputation for the quality of its local produce and its Michelin restaurants, Mr Underhills and La Becasse. There are, as well, numerous other places to eat where you can experience genuine top quality, locally sourced food. Ludlow also contains a large number of independent, specialist food shops: three butchers, four bakers, cheese shops, delis, whole food shops, organic food shops etc. All sell products of the highest quality, much of which is sourced locally. In Castle Street, in the square, a farmers market is held once a month and traditional open market is held three or four times a week. In the centre of the town are numerous pubs and bars, many selling local beers. Ludlow is famous for its festivals. There is the open air Shakespeare festival in the last week of June & first week of July,the Medieval Christmas Fayre (Fair) held in November and the famous Food and Drink Festival, in September.
