Amidst rolling farmland in the scenic Hope Valley, at the southern foot of the famous Wenlock Edge, lies the lovely scattered village of Westhope. The area surrounding the village is pack with a great number of walks along rambling and cycle trails as well as local paths and bridleways. Many of Shropshire’s attractions are within easy driving distance, such as Church Stretton, known as “Little Switzerland” amongst the locals, as well as the beautiful Long Mynd Hills, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre and Acton Scott Historic Working Farm. Nearby Ironbridge is now a World Heritage Site whilst the market towns of Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow host a variety of local amenities such as shops, pubs and restaurants. This lovely little village, in its picturesque setting is a great location from which to explore the rest of the region.
