Set amongst a huge network of cycling routes, bridleways and footpaths, this quaint little village boasts an eleventh century church, and is well positioned for exploring the local region. Renowned amongst walkers as an ideal place to discover the Clee, Caradoc and Long Mynd Hills, Whitton is also close to Church Stretton, known as "Little Switzerland" amongst the locals. With the historic, medieval town of Ludlow just five miles away, it’s easy to take a trip to see the five hundred listed buildings, and stop for a bite to eat in one of the town’s many tearooms and restaurants - four of which have been awarded Michelin stars.
