Brookfields has been extensively refurbished and redecorated over the past few years and provides high quality spacious, bright and comfortable accommodation for up to fourteen people making it ideal for large family gatherings or parties of friends.
Enter this lovely property via the large leaded-light porch with stained glass panels around the inner entrance door.
Here you will find the hallway giving access to ground floor rooms and upper floors by using the elegant staircase with its beautiful balustrades and mahogany handrails. This magnificent staircase acts is the central core of the house and the stairwell spans impressively from ground to second floor.
An elegant lounge with a beautiful curved glass bay window overlooking the hills has been tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable seating providing the ideal place to unwind after a hard day enjoying yourself. TV, DVD, Video and CD player are all available here for your use and enjoyment. Some books, games and extensive literature on the many local attractions are also available.
Also on the ground floor is a double en-suite bedroom and on the first floor two more double en-suite, one twin en-suite and a single bedroom together with a separate shower room and wc.
From the first floor landing up the elegant staircase you will find two more double bedrooms, one en-suite the other having a separate bathroom.
All seven fine bedrooms have either en-suite or private facilities as well as many other home comforts, TV (some with DVD), clock/radio, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, seating, and complimentary toiletries. Some bedrooms are even large enough to take an extra bed, which makes the accommodation very flexible for different group configurations. Please enquire.
Crisp white bed linen and fluffy white luxury towels are all provided.

The large modern kitchen is fitted with all the luxury of the 21st century with extensive granite worktops, American fridge/freezer with drink and ice dispenser, large range style cooker with two electric ovens, warming oven, grill, and gas hob, microwave and two dishwashers. Next-door is a utility room where two washing machines, two tumble driers and ironing equipment can be utilised if needed. A WC is also situated just off the utility room.
Beyond the kitchen is the dining room, an eclectic blend of lovely period features and contemporary furnishings with a long table and fourteen high backed comfortable leather chairs, equally suitable for gracious dining or a quick takeaway from the nearby town. Through French doors leading from the dining room you can access an attractive elevated decking area with tables and seating for outdoor relaxation, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Long Mynd hills.

Church Stretton is a small market town made fashionable by the Victorians with a pleasing atmosphere of small shops and good service. The town nestles in a valley with glorious backdrop of the Longmynd and Caer Caradoc. This setting has earned it the name of 'Little Switzerland' the more so in winter when dusted with snow. The shuttle bus that circulates up on the Longmynd plateau, passes through the town centre. This area of outstanding natural beauty is renowned for its many beautiful and scenic walks to suit both the less energetic and the more experienced hill walkers and those with an interest in the extraordinary geological formulations of Shropshire.
Golf Courses, Gliding Club, Tennis Courts and Bowling Green, Stables and Cycle hire facilities are all close by as well as centres for Hot Air Ballooning.
