This 16th century, Grade II Listed Black & White cottage for 4 people is located in the village of Eardisley close to Hay-on-Wye on Herefordshire's famous Black & White Village Trail close to the border with Wales.

The lovely May Cottage dates from the early 16th century and is Grade II Listed. The cottage, which has two double bedrooms, is compact and charming. Its many attractions include original features such as oak beams, traditional quarry tiling and a wood-burning stove in the sitting-room which ensures a cosy atmosphere throughout. The garden has been designed to complement the traditional feel of the cottage, and is the ideal place for long and lazy outdoor meals. May Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, an attractive dining room and a bathroom with both bath and hand-shower attachment. A charming holiday getaway for couples.

The historic village of Eardisley is part of the famed Black & White Village Trail of Herefordshire, which focuses on the many timbered and half-timbered houses in this stunning part of the country. Eardisley has a number of distinctive black and white cottages dating from the early 16th century, as well as a charming Norman church, two pubs and a well-stocked village shop. The countryside around is renowned for its beauty, and activities which can be enjoyed including cycling, walking, fishing, canoeing and bird watching. Attractions in the locality include Eastnor Castle and the Offa's Dyke Path. That magnet for book-lovers, Hay-on-Wye, is within easy reach and Hereford, which boasts the amazing Mappa Mundi, is less than 15 miles away.

				High Season Price:	£499 per Week

This property does not accept short breaks. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Change Over Day : Fri Winter Short Breaks are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period. Extra nights are charged pro rata. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods. A 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date. Last Minute Breaks (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'High', 'Peak', 'Christmas' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. A 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date.
