The Farm House is a 17th century Grade II listed three bedroomed home. The restoration has sympathetically retained many original features including oak beams, stone and oak spiral stairs and flagstone floors, and subtly integrated them with 21st century features such as under-floor heating, two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. It is now a very comfortable three bedroom home complemented by outdoor patio and dining area, views out across the orchard and fields, and, an enclosed private garden.  
Once inside the half glazed front door you will enter the oak beamed sitting room, warmed by under floor heating and a wood burning stove in the original stone fireplace. Large comfortable sofas provide a relaxing place to spend time with friends and family. 
 
The generous kitchen/dining room is adjacent to the sitting room and is fitted with all of the modern appliances needed for entertaining, another wood burning stove and a bespoke table made from Herefordshire oak which seats up to 12 people. A light inside the brick baking oven alludes to a bygone era. 
 
Beyond the kitchen is a utility room and a spacious bathroom. The utility room is equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer and a large storage cupboard. The bathroom has a large, deep bath with overhead shower, washbasin and toilet.  
 
Stone and oak spiral staircases lead from both the kitchen and the sitting rooms up to the bedrooms. Above the sitting room is a double bedroom with mahogany bedstead and en-suite shower and toilet. Above the kitchen is another double bedroom with stone fireplace and hardwood flooring. The middle bedroom can be accessed from both double bedrooms through substantial oak doors. This room has three single beds, one being an ornate day bed. All three bedrooms have high ceilings and extensive rural views, are furnished to a high standard, and the property can sleep up to seven people. 
 
The Farm House adjoins The Stable and both can conveniently be booked together and use the ample cooking and dining facilities in the Farm House.

Nearby is everything you need for a fabulous holiday whether you like walking, fishing, canoeing, horse riding, castles, good food, or books. Hay-on-Wye, world famous town of books and the famous Hay Festival is just 20 minutes drive away. Within 30 minutes drive are the cathedral City of Hereford and the historic market town of Abergavenny, and there is easy access to Brecon, with its Jazz Festival, the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains, Symonds Yat, Ross On Wye, the Golden Valley, the Elan Valley, Mid Wales, South Wales and the Royal Forest of Dean.

Once here we can offer you caterers, superb local frozen meals straight from your freezer to oven, Longtown shop sells everything you might need –if they don’t sell it, it’s not worth having!! Local butchers prepare home grown meats, Hereford is renowned for cider – a famous label is brewed 6 miles away.

Our guests say they would need to stay all year to walk all the nearby paths! Walk over into the Craswall valley and visit the legendary Bulls Head pub serving local food and beverages. See stunning views of the Black Mountains where the Welsh Border and Offa’s Dyke pathway combine. For an easier stroll head across the fields into the village through Michaelchurch Court to the picturesque Bridge Inn.

Within easy reach are Hay-on-Wye, the Brecon Beacons National Park, Abergavenny, Hereford, the picturesque Golden Valley and Wye Valley, Symonds Yat, the World Heritage Site at Blaenavon, Llanthony Abbey, the famous Dore Abbey and the ancient church of St. Margaret's.
