Pontcanna has a bespoke selection of locally run cafes, bistros, gastro pubs and one or two tradition pubs. It is also home to the Le Gallois and Cameo restaurants. Surrounding all of that you have the beautiful Llandaff fields leading up to the Cathedral.

Serviced apartment, centrally located, large, ground floor, 2 bed apartment, housed in a handsome Victorian villa which is on Cardiff's most prestigious road - Cathedral Road. This highly sought after location is adjacent to Pontcanna fields in the heart of this tree lined conservation area (Londons' Chelsea equivalent). The attractive shops, pavement cafes, restaurants and friendly watering holes are all close by. 
 
The apartment has a host of original features, terrazzo tiled floor, Victorian fireplaces, sash windows, high ceilings, large bedrooms and even the original servants bell system (servants not provided). We also provide all the usual 'mod cons' you would expect : microwave, cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster, iron & ironing board, hair dryer, wardbobes and towels. We provide tea and coffee are availlable upon your arrival - we want your stay with us to be relaxing, revitalising and revigorating. Lounge/dining room - large flatscreen TV with freeview, free internet access etc. 
 
The property further benefits from being just a minutes’ walk from the National Institute of Sport, Glamorgan Cricket Club, Cardiff Arms Park, the Millenium Stadium, the Cardiff International Arena and the city centre. Cardiff Bay and the M4 are within a very short drive, or water taxi if you prefer.  
 
Sleeps 4 – 6 , 2 double beds , 2 single beds, cot available on request – please bring your own bedding for the cot. All other bedding, linen and towels etc are provided. Please let us know in advance how many will be staying. The owners have lived and worked all over the world but for the last 10 years have returned home to Cardiff - as such any information you need they can provide.

Pontcanna is simply the nicest place to stay when in Cardiff. It is a village within a city - only a few minutes from the Castle and City Centre yet Pontcanna is a protected Victorian conservation area. All the properties on Cathedral Road are large 3 storey Victorian villas / mansions.

There are lots of exquisite restaurants, pubs, cafe bistros, and shops all close by. The Conway Pub, The Cricketers, or the Hansel and Gretal style Mocyn Du which is the old gate keepers lodge into Sophia Gardens on the edge of the castle grounds.
