Highgate Holiday Cottages are all converted from the old Highgate farmstead, the byre, the stables, hay and straw barns and mill. They are all individual, with retained character, a wealth of oak beams, some vaulted ceilings, oak floors, wonderful views and aspect.

Rosebank Cottage 
Fomerly part of the old Cow Byre, Rosebank has 3 double bedded bed rooms one of which is situated on the ground floor, all the bedrooms are ensuite with two having shower ensuites and one a bath ensuite. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen, with easy to operate appliances and benefits from a deep freeze, fridge, dish washer, washing machine \ tumble dryer, full size oven and hob and microwave oven. 
The sitting room has soft sofa seating for six, the television has sky reception but you will need to bring your own card, the dining table comfortably seats six. Good quality bed linen and towels, ample china, glassware, saucepans and cooking utensils are provided. 
Rosebank Cottage has underfloor heating on both floors it is a pretty cottage which accommodates six with ease.  
Undercover car parking in the barn opposite the cottage, barbeque and picnic table. Cot, Highchair and Stairgate available.  
Milkstand Cottage  
Milkstand Cottage is converted from the remainder of the old Cow Byre, Milkstand has 3 double bedded bed rooms, all the bedrooms are on the first floor, (one bedroom ensuite with shower,) a family bathroom, ground floor cloakroom. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen, with easy to operate appliances and benefits from a deep freeze, fridge, dish washer, washing machine \ tumble dryer, full size oven, hob and microwave oven.

Old Stable Cottage & Oak-apple Cottage 
As it name indicates this cottage was converted from the stables and working horses stalls of days gone bye. Old Stable Cottage has 4 double bed rooms one of which is situated on the ground floor, all the bedrooms are ensuite with three having showers and one a bath ensuite. 
Two of the first floor bedrooms have double beds the other has twin singles \ super king beds, the ground floor bedroom likewise has twin singles \ super king beds, the ensuite shower room with the ground floor bedroom has an easy access shower cubicle. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen, with easy to operate appliances and benefits from a deep freeze, fridge, dish washer, washing machine. 
Oak-apple Cottage is very similar to Old Stable Cottage

Highgate cottages are fitted and furnished to a very high standard, Quarry Cottage is particularly suitable for the disabled as it has a very large ground floor bedroom with ensuite wet room. The three cottages with 4 bedrooms all have an ensuite ground floor bedroom. Rosebank Cottage a three bed room cottage has a ground floor ensuite bedroom. Highgate Cottages are set amongst the rolling welsh hills, perfect for riding, walking cycling and golf. There are many activities and places of interest locally from Castles to Beaches, Falconry to Theatre and a host of good eating houses, local Welsh village pubs, superb shopping at Shrewsbury and Chester, wonderful local produce, fresh and organic. Highgate Directions On arrival at NEWTOWN If travelling from Craven Arms at roundabout take second left (straight over) If travelling from Welshpool at roundabout take third left (3 O'clock) The Severn Bridge will be in front of you McDonalds behind you. Proceed over bridge and over three pedestrian crossings, passing the "Kingdom Hall" on your right. Turn Right at the "Y" junction in to Llanfair road, proceed, the Cottage Hospital will be on your left. Come out of Newtown, Highgate is 3 miles further, the road snakes several times.
