Vacation Rental Description
The Forest offers 3 splendid Victorian holiday cottages and adjacent is a Country House B&B. Each cottage accommodates 4 or 5 people and the B&B has 5 bedrooms. The furnishings and decoration of each cottage and rooms are different but all share a style which respects the original Victorian architecture. Children of all ages are welcome and there is an outside play area, tennis court, toy boxes and a free games room. WIFI internet is available and there are kennels and stables.

There is a tennis court, peaceful gardens and a free games room with pool and table football. Children of all ages are welcome and there is a swing, climbing frame and play house. Extra beds may be added to some room for children. The tranquil setting makes it the perfect place in which to relax and an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of Mid Wales. Less than 1.5 kms away is Kerry village which has a pub restaurant and it is a 5 minute drive from Newtown. 
 
The Forest nestles in the beautiful Vale of Kerry, 3 miles from the ancient market town of Newtown close to the Kerry Ridgeway, Offa's Dyke and Glyndwr's Way. Montgomery with its castle ruins and the medieval Powis Castle are close by and there are steam railways and canals to explore. 
 
There is a lot to see and do in this beautiful area including sports, scenic walks, castles and pretty villages and towns.

    • Tennis Court Games Room with table football, pool, table tennis Young children's play area with climbing frams, swing. Older childres's play fort - large wooden "wild west" fort. The cottages form a courtyard with our country house B&B. Each cottage can sleep 4 or 5 making a total of 13 if all 3 cottages are booked. The B&B has 5 rooms and can sleep 10 people. The owners live in the country house with their 2 young children

    For cottages we require a 50% deposit with the balance due 6 weeks before arrival. Cheque and cash are accepted. Prices range from £180 per week in low season to £505 per week per cottage in peak season For the B&B we require a 20% room deposit. Cheque, cash and credit cards are accepted. Prices range from £70 per double room to £95 for our 4 poster superking room
