Vacation Rental Description

Yscubor is a character stone barn conversion, set in beautiful surroundings with a backdrop of a mountain rock. The footpath is nearby and takes you to the coastal footpath. The cottage has open plan living kitchen room with a mulberry colour Esse oil central heating range,seating for 6, and historic character stone walls and a large doorway,with stable door to rear garden and with plenty of parking and picnic outside spaces. The cottage is semi-detatched and is situated on a quiet working farm. Prices include all linen,towels, and central heating with electric on £1 meter.Yscubor has washing machine and fridge/freezer. Yscubor has TV with Freeview channels,CD/radio,variety of books,and information of things to do.
A cot is available and high chair provided. Yscubor cottage sleeps 7. Downstairs has one double room and one single, with a family bathroom. Upstairs the spacious family bedroom has one double bed and 2 single beds, and is ideal for children,with 3 conservation velux windows giving a scenic view of the fields and countryside.
Whitesands beach is a five minute drive away, and is a blue flag awarded beach, good for surfing and with cafe facilities. Abereiddy beach with the Blue Lagoon is a short drive away. The 12th century St.Davids Cathedral and ruins of Bishop's Palace is 3 miles away,a destination of many for pilgrams and visitors, now with a Refectory,and disabled facilities.

A food hamper can be provided by Peter's Fruit and Veg shop which stocks all sorts of things, eg local cheeses. This can be arranged in advance of arrival and delivered and put away. The cottage is 3 miles north of St.Davids,on a quiet working farm. Near to Whitesands beach, and to the coastal footpath which is accessed from the farm onto the coast. The backdrop is a mountain,which can be climbed. The City of St.Davids has a Cathedral, with a new Refectory,and various shops and restaurants. The beaches of Abereiddy and the Blue Lagoon, and Caerfai and Newgale are all a short drive away. Fishguard is approx 20 mins by car and Haverfordwest approx 30 mins by car. Treleidyr farm Holiday Cottages, is situated 3 miles north of St.Davids on a quiet working farm. The large Cottage Yscubor sleeps 6 and the smaller cottage,Bwthyn Bach sleeps 2/4. The larger cottage,suitable for families,with Bwthyn bach great for romantic breaks,and small families. The Static caravan sleeps 2/4 and is in its own grounds with a large grassed area. Both Bwthyn Bach and the caravan accept pets.
Children love to come here and families enjoy the walks on the coast.There are coastal activities and boat trips to the Islands.
There are tourist buses running through the summer. There are a good standard of restaurants in St.Davids and at Porthgain,nearby,The Sloop which I can recommend as very family friendly, a pub/restaurant on the harbour.
Many visitors come on a pilgrimage to St.Davids Cathedral, and find it a very soulful experience.
