Vacation Rental Description
Our Family holiday home is secluded but not remote, tucked away at the top of its own drive off a minor road. Set in 35 acres on the border of the Snowdonia National Park, we have 360 degree views: mountains to the North and the coast to the South. Inside, 4 bedrooms, modern conveniences (e.g. Freeview TV & wireless broadband access) nestle within a traditional home from home with beamed lounge ceiling, wood burning stove and glorious garden room, set among child & dog friendly land.
People who know Ynys Pandy tell us it is a special place and we invite you to experience the peace and sense of space for yourselves. Beautifully furnished and well equipped, we sleep eight people plus a baby in a cot and recommend a maximum of 6 adults. We welcome well behaved pets, bearing in mind that there are sheep in the field and that we have two free range dogs & two similarly minded cats.
The pace of Life here is slow, do what you want when you want. Be busy doing nothing or be nothing but busy. Mountain walking or climbing, golfing or fishing, castles or beaches, good eating and sound sleeping: It`s your choice, just enjoy!

With space for 5 cars at the front, a large garden with swings to the rear and access to 14 hectares of gentle Welsh fields, we are surrounded by 360 degree views, a huge sky and peace aplenty.
We will happily do a prearranged, limited shop for you (enough for a breakfast) or you can use Tesco`s shop & drop for it all and as we live next door, we can always be consulted for our local knowledge.
At the bottom of the drive is a bus stop (limited service though) and the boudary of the Snowdonia National Park so you can walk from your front door straight up a mountain! But there`s really nothing you could wish for that isn`t a half hour or so drive away.
There are two double rooms (two cots are available), a bunkbed room and one with two singles upstairs, with bathroom, second toilet and utility, lounge and generous garden room down stairs. Guests have often commented on the cosy feel with games, music, DVDs, books and maps to hand.

OK, the skiing and snowboarding are on dry slopes but it`s all there plus the cultural heritage of Wales with our many castles, chapels & churches and the romantic landscape speckled with rivers, ruins and lakes. Most, if not all of the activities detailed are available for hire but we have the space to store your own bikes, boats, etc. In fact, there`s so much to do, you will probably need a fortnight`s holiday to more than one or two things (we give you a discount on the second week :)
Three miles down the hill from us in Tremadoc there`s a good fish & chip shop, 3 pubs serving food and a very good restaurant, petrol station, post office, hospital and Spar shop and a mile further, in Portmadoc, Tesco/Aldi/etc, cinema, swimming pool/gym, 2 narrow gauge railways, main line station, harbour and what have you (no M&S though!)
For more, see our website but when you come, remember to bring wellies (just in case!) Hwyl Fawr.
