Fine traditional stone Farmhouse set in its 240 acre working farm, with magnificent views down to the Dwyryd Estuary and Portmeirion, in one of the most beautiful and tranquil "off-the-beaten-track" areas of the Snowdonia National Park. Ancient woodland valleys with immediate access from the farmhouse to miles of brilliant hill walking from the property. The house is ideal for extended families or groups self-catering, having spacious, comfortable, no frills, accommodation. There is oil-fired central heating throughout, and opening stoves in the living rooms, with fuel available at cost.

The area is particularly rich for ornithologists- sea, estuary, mountain, woodland birds, for archaeologists with celtic sites, and of course the great Edwardian Castles, like Harlech. Local attractions include Portmeirion Village, Snowdon, the narrow guage railway from Porthmadog to Ffestiniog, to open a new route through the mounbtains in 2009

During the main summer holiday season, we have a large North American Tipi ( which can sleep six or more comfortably ) in a field adjoining the Farmhouse, which can be rented with it, or separately. We are also happy for families or groups to being their own tents, and there are washing facilities etc. available for these.

The Central Heating is oil-fired and is included in the rental, as is bed linen. We ask guests to bring own towels. Coal and wood are available at cost on the premises for the living room stoves. Good mobile phone reception, and internet provision by wireless. There are excellent safe and sandy beaches within three miles
