Vacation Rental Description
Plas Newydd Cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Derwen, Just a mile off of the A494 Ruthin to Corwen road, along its own drive the cottage is found adjoining the owners home (formerly the old rectory). With its stunning views and peaceful surroundings its a perfect place to sit and enjoy or explore North East Wales not far from the English border you can visit the beautiful city of Chester or travel to the wonderful Llyn Penisula and the surrounding Snowdonia National Park, also on the door step there is lots of walking and mountain biking to be had. Information leaflets on place's to visit or eat at.
The Medieval town of Ruthin is well worth a visit and this is where we recommend you go for your shopping, take aways or eating out with a wide range of pubs and resturants, Ruthin is approx 7 miles away (10min's by car)
We are sorry but no pets are allowed as the cottage is surrounded by farm land and this may cause problems during the lambing season, thank you.
Facilities
Plas Newydd Cottage is central for touring North East Wales, surrounded by farm land and superb views, you can relax or visit place's of interest, ideal place for walking, mountain biking or just sitting back and reading a good book while taking in the scenery on your doorstep. Cottage has it's own gas BBQ, seating area, there is room for you to store your hiking and biking gear in the laundry room situated to the front of the cottage. The property is approached by 3 steps to the front door, straight into the lounge off to the right is the kitchen fully equipped, off the lounge is a door leading to the stairs which accesses the twin room then a door leads to the shower room and king size bedroom both bedrooms having excellent views to the hills. We supply bed linen and towels (sorry but we do not supply cot linen) there is a travel cot, high chair & stairgate. Information leaflets, maps, board games, dvd's video's and books provided.
