Bryn Derwen is a lovely semi-detached holiday cottage situated on the outskirts of Llangynhafal, four miles from the medieval town of Ruthin.

The property offers two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with open fire. The large enclosed garden affords stunning views of the surrounding countryside and Bryn Derwen is a great property for nature lovers who want to explore the natural wonders of the area. Horse riding enthusiasts are well catered for, with a network of bridal ways and superb local hacking within reach. The owner’s floodlit menage and stable block is suitable for advanced riders and beginners, and is situated adjacent to the main house. Use of the riding facilities and riding lessons can be arranged with the owner at additional cost. The nearby Clwydian Hills offer superb walking, and a fabulous selection of historical, cultural, natural and adventurous activities are all on offer within easy reach of Bryn Derwen.

Activities

The town of Ruthin is full of pretty half-timbered buildings, the majority of which are clustered around St Peter's Square. This attractive hilltop town is located to the north of Llangollen via the spectacular Horseshoe Pass. Ruthin is home to many fascinating shops and buildings, including the Ruthin Craft Centre, which displays and sells work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople. Stunning countryside and scenery including Lake Brenig, Moel Famau Country Park and Clocaenog Forest are all on Ruthin’s doorstep, and further afield you can discover the beautiful Coast and Snowdonia National Park.

All bookings are subject to an additional £35.00 booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
