This end-terrace cottage located on the owner’s one acre smallholding is a perfect example of a 19th Century property in the pretty village of Dodleston. Just five miles from the Roman City of Chester, this comfortable and spacious holiday home is well placed on the border of England and Wales. With two bedrooms – one double and one twin – the cottage is positioned right in the heart of this region making it ideal for those looking to explore all that Chester and north Wales has on offer.

Activities

Surrounded by rolling farmland, the pretty, rural village of Dodleston is half a mile from the border between England and Wales. This sleepy village offers a local shop and a traditional village inn that serves wholesome food as well as a fascinating 16th century church and various walking trails. These pathways form part of the renowned Cheshire Walks and allow ramblers to explore this spectacular region. There are a number of good hotels, pubs and restaurants as well as a local golf course. For those who enjoy bird watching the nearby River Alyn offers an array of different species, including herons, cormorants and kingfishers. Full of beautiful architecture, the historic City of Chester offers quality shopping and a number of excellent pubs and restaurants as well as the chance to take a walk along the medieval city walls or along the banks of the River Dee. There is even an exciting zoo nearby.

				Low Season Price:	£259 per Week
				High Season Price:	£493 per Week

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday. Change Over
