Beautifully set in 14 acres of grass and woodlands, bounded by the river Lledr in the Snowdonia National Park.
Vacation Rental Description
Cae Du is a perfect, self-catering destination, deep in the heart of the Snowdonian National Park, close to the scenic village of Betws y Coed. Comfortably accommodating twelve adults, there are 6 bedrooms(3 twins,3 doubles),2 bedrooms have riverside balconies. Of the 4 bathrooms all have showers, 2 have baths, of which 1 is a Jacuzzi
There is a well equipped kitchen and a utility room.
The dining area seats 12 and there are 2 comfortable lounges.
The river-facing patio area has a BBQ and teak outside furniture.
There is ample secure off road parking.
Cae Du is well located for easy access to the many attractions the area has to offer. You are spoilt for choice with the variety of activities to be found both inland as well as the coastal regions: hiking, climbing and canoeing, mountain biking, fishing and horse riding.
There are also sightseeing attractions in abundance which include numerous castles and old towns, as well as slate mines and mills. Vast sandy beaches and stunning coastlines are on your doorstep to explore, along with piers waterfalls and parks - the list is endless!
The accommodation is available throughout the year, it is comfortably equipped and centrally heated.
The bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday.

Spacious, well-equiped kitchen with 6 gas hobs, double electric fan-asssited oven, slow-cooker, bread maker, coffee maker and toaster.There is also a piano in dining room.Cot, highchair and stairgates for young children.Secure storage of bicyles available in outbuilding.
Activities
The nearby village of Betws y coed is a focal point to the area. Here you will find; the golf course, craft and outdoor equipement and clothing shops, mountain bike rentals, restaurants and where fishing licences are obtained. It is also here that you can purchase your food requirement although you may wish to use the larger outlets located on the coast, which also give you wide, sandy beaches and again a host of shopping opportunities.
The many local attractions include: Portmeiron italiante resort village, Bodnant gardens with its famous laburnam arch, the UNESCO designated world heritage sites of the castles at Conway, Caenarfon, Harlech and Beaumaris. Add to this the slate, gold and copper mines, the narrow guage steam railways, the walking, hiking and brilliant scenery. For children there are the rope adventure plaground, Chester Zoo and the attractions at Llandudno on the great Orme. There is something for everyone.

Hire cost is fully inclusive of all heating, electricity, bed linen duvets and towels. A deposit of 10% of the total hire cost is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable eight weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. If the booking is made less than eight weeks before the commencement of the holiday, the total rent is payable at the time of booking. Upon payment of the deposit, and subject to our acceptance of the booking, you accept a legal obligation to pay the balance of the total rent. You are, therefore, advised to obtain separate holiday cancellation insurance. Once the deposit or total rent has been paid, no refund will be made. Payments can be made by either cheque to T. Carter or electronic bank transfer.

Cae Du, Great Location
We have owened a holiday home in the Snowdonia National Park for more than 15 years, and Cae Du for the last 10 years and it was 5 years ago we decided to let it out as a holiday home to enable us to continue to improve the house and the grounds, which we continue to do.
Whenever the house is not let we are useualy ther working in the garden/grounds which we have great plans for, or carrying out the maintenece.
We placed a guests book in the house a couple of years ago and it is so good to see the great comments all the guests have made about the house and the area. The whole national park is becoming a great recrerational area, particualy, allthough not exclusivly for those who like the outdoors. Betws Y Coed is a great little village in a fantastic situation, and has grown significantly over the years, and still has imense apeal. If you can the hike up Snowdon is a must even better if you get a clear view at the top. Llundudno must be one of the finest victorian seaside towns around, with its huge promenade, and pier. You will find pleanty to keep you occupied here in North Wales
